1. Introduction:
Repertorization is an important component of
homeopathic case analysis, where
practitioners will systematically associate
patient symptoms with the most relevant
remedies from Materia Medica. Traditionally,
Repertorization relies on manual search with a
repertory through standardized rubrics—a
cumbersome, occasionally subjective process
susceptible to human inconsistency and losing
fine symptom context.
With artificial intelligence (AI), in the form of
large language models and sophisticated
search algorithms, homeopathic
Repertorization can be transformed. AI can
rapidly process and semantically digest large
amounts of symptom data and, in the process,
provide more accurate and comprehensive
search results from the Materia Medica,
potentially dispensing with the limitation of
alphabetically arranged rubrics and enhancing
speed and diagnostic precision.
Although, not much comparative research is
available comparing the effectiveness,
accuracy, and practitioner satisfaction of the
conventional and AI-based Repertorization
technique in homeopathy. This study attempts
to fill in the gap by comparing the two
techniques on hand to actual cases and
providing evidence for the implementation of
technology in future homeopathic decision-
making.

Comparative cross-sectional study.
Sample selection-
30 cases of chronic complaints (random
selection from outpatient records or simulated
cases).
Inclusion criteria:
The cases where Repertorization is required
for remedy selection.
Exclusion criteria:
Incomplete symptomatology or emergency
cases.
Intervention-
Two groups of two repetitions each: one with
conventional Repertorization (manual
books/software), and the other using an AI-
aided tool.
Practitioners blind to each other's results.
Outcomes Measured-
Primary:
Time taken to perform Repertorization.
Remedy accuracy (verified against
concurrence of a senior panel).
Secondary:
Practitioner satisfaction and confidence as
assessed using Likert-scale questionnaires.
Number/type of errors (e.g., missed rubrics,
loss of context).
Statistical Analysis-
Descriptive statistics for baseline information.
Paired t-test or Wilcoxon signed-rank test for
time scores and satisfaction scores.
Accuracy compared with chi-square or
Fisher's exact test.
Statistical significance at p < 0.05.
Ethical Considerations-
No identifying data was utilized in reporting;
informed consent from all practitioners who
participated; ethical clearance from the
institution.
