Excel Grade Report Task Instructions
As you have already seen, Excel is a very useful program since you can create databases and manage
record of the activities you carry out, but not only that, it also has the option to combine your
information to insert formulas, graphs, diagrams. In this task you will apply everything you have seen so far
this moment in this course.
The objective of the task is for you to apply the commands involved in the File, Format, Insert, and View menus.
To do this, you will prepare a grade report for your course. You must consider the following:
o Module 1 accounts for 10% of the final grade.
o Module 2 accounts for 20% of the final grade.
o Module 3 accounts for 20% of the final grade.
o The final exam is worth 50% of the final grade.
Instructions
1. Open ExcelView animation open_excel 3.
2. Save your document with the name grade-list in the path: My documents/Folder with
your name
3. Change the name of Sheet 1 to: Presentation.
4. Change the name of sheet 2 to: Students.
5. Change the name of sheet 3 to: Grades.
6. Position yourself on the sheet: Presentation.
15. Select from cell B4 to cell J4 and press the Merge and Center )button.
16. Select from cell B6 to cell J6 and press the Merge and Center button.
17. Select from cell B8 to cell J8 and press the Merge and Center button.
18. Select from cell B10 to cell J10 and press the Merge and Center button.
19. Select from cell B12 to cell J12 and press the Merge and Center button.
20. Select from cell B4 to cell J14.
21. Format the text. Font: MS Sans Serif, size: 14, bold, text color: indigo.
22. Select the entire sheet and change the background color to white.
23. Position yourself on the Students sheet.
o Click in the corner without releasing and drag. You will see a box with numbers appear.

right of your screen.

the right side of your screen.
Remember to check the evaluation criteria in the same section where you will submit your
file.
