A storm is coming:

The world waited, stillness covered the earth, every leaf and line of grass frozen in time, holding

its breath underneath the now bruised sky. The air was heavy and thick as if the world itself were

holding its breath. Above the clouds were now forming into shapes that looked nothing of the

ordinary. The sea once calm, now churned restlessly dragging its edges back and fourth in a

swing like motion. Every tree, every rooftop, every fragile object waited in anticipation of what

was to come. In the distance, a haunting darkness crept across the horizon blanketing the last

strands on sunlight. As the sun sank lower, the mist thickened, shrouding the landscape in an

ethereal glow. The wind moved violently, tearing through the trees like an unstoppable force dust

whipped across the land, scattering leaves and destroying everything in its path. The sea brought

fourth relentless waves smashing together spraying salt into thick air, heavy air. Every living

thing had either fled or hidden leaving the land raw and exposed. The wind was ferocious,

gaining power all the time, until it screamed over the castle and beat like a fist against the walls,

flung itself against the battlements, howled into the courtyard, twisted round the towers, blasted

the door, smashing them back and fourth against the wall with a thud, roared through the hall,

swirling like a hurricane from wall to wall, floor to ceiling.

Echoing in the distance, the mist thickened A blinding glow. The sword of a Clark night draws

closer. Like an around. Then, with no warning, the silence erupted. A massive bolt of lightning

shot through the pillow like clouds, its blinding flash and speed trembling the world beneath it.

Thunder followed behind like an angry drumbeat, rolling across the horror movie sky with a

furious roar. The wind came along, no longer a gentle whisper but restless howls that clawed at

the trees. Another immense, dazzling, guillotine blade of lighting streaked across the sky,
illumination it with a stark blue across the land. Dust spiraled upwards, leaves falling apart, trees

running for their freedom their bodies trashing wildly in defiance of the storms grip. The air was

electric, buzzing vividly with energy so sharp it dances across the skin. branches tore from trees,

flying like poisonous arrows, while loose pieces of waste floated around. The air buzzed with

energy so sharp it pricked the skin and made the hair on arms stand up, the world felt like it

would snap at any moment. Above the bridge, dark clouds continued to gather, casting long

shadows down the mountainside.

Rain soon arrived, crashing down on earth that felt violent. Each drop struck like glass, hitting

the ground without mercy. White bursts of light, one after another, cut through the darkness like

camera flashes. The storm was no longer up – it was everywhere, pushing the world into a wild

frenzy. Puddles formed swelling into streams that raced into the roads and cars, while look

destroying everything in its path. Windows shattered in their frames, doors rattled vigorously.

And the air filled with water, thunder, and wind. It was like the heavens opened, the emptying

their anger on the earth. The breeze was cold, the misty haze like a veil drifting across the sky,

bringing a feeling of dread and menace. The storm turned into a hurricane, blocking each persons

way.

The storm raged on with merciless power. Crawling deeper and deeper into the land. Lighting

continued to dance across the sky effortlessly, each strike tearing open the darkness with anger.

Thunder crashed so intensely shaking the ground feeling like the earth was going to split open in

two. Trees bent like fragile twigs. The streets turned into rivers that flowed with unstoppable

force. Every shadow flickered in the night sky brought to life by the storm's illumination, it was

now a battle between light and dark. In that moment, the world no longer felt safe. But fragile –
helpless as if it were waiting for its time to come. The tops of the trees were bending, arching

from side to side, whistling, and sighing as the wind wound itself around the ancient trunks,

through the tangle of leaves, tearing at the bark. The bitter winds and harsh whispers rattled the

bare branches of the trees, which frayed together like broken teeth.

At last, the storm to die down. The thunder that once roared with strong dominance now drifted

along into slight mumbles, fading like an exhausted beast going back into the shadows. The

lighting once violent and restless, flickered only occasionally, faint blue line of streaks struggling

to be seen. The rain slowly softened into a soft drizzle dripping from broken branches lying

across the street – streets that were once rivers of chaos now lay drowned in silence. Littered

with pieces of the aftermath: shattered glass, twisted metal, rooftops, and broken-down trees. The

air carried the weirdly calming scent of wet mud and grass.

The world looked transformed stripped by natures hand. Shadows stood staring at the wreckage

of our town. Through the thinning clouds, painting everything in a pale grey light. During the

stillness. There was both loose and a bit of [Link] sky was now a perfect shade of blue

reflecting on the oceans skin, the salty sandy scent of the ocean air mixed with the faint, sharp

scent of rain and mud filled noses as the large clouds drifted backwards.
