Write a paragraph (150 - 180 words):Some parents think that childcare centres
provide the best services for children of pre-school age. Other working parents
think that family members such as grandparents will be better carers for their kids.
Which side do you agree with and why?
While some parents argue that early childhood education centres offer distict
benefits over family members’ care, I belive that just children’s loved ones are able
to nurture them fully. Firstly, they provide a deep emotional connection and a
sense of security that professional caregivers may struggle to match. Children
raised by their grandparents often get more emotional support, which is crucial
during the early development. Secondly, family-based care allows for greater
consistency in values, language, and cultural practices, helping children form a
strong identity. Unlike childcare centres, which may be crowded and impersonal,
care from grandparents is usually one-on-one, ensuring that the child’s unique
needs are met Finally, grandparents pass down cultural values, language, and
traditions, which help shape a child’s identity and strengthen family ties. They also
offer flexibility in routines, which is less stressful for both the child and the
parents. In conclusion, the emotional connection and individual care children
receive from family members form a more solid foundation for their development
and long-term well-being.
