SCRIPT: WHO AM I; SHORT FILM
Main Cast:
Artist: A struggling Artist doubting his/her skill and creativity block
College Student No.1 : A student doubting his/her choice if he/she is in the right path
College Student No. 2 : A student struggling if she can pursue the career that his/her
parent chose
Scenario 1: People walking in midst of the crowd, while focusing the camera of the 3
main cast. [ artist,college 1& 2]
Scenario 2: Each character found a object that triggers their old self.
Artist: Found an old sketch pad that all his/her art work feels lively.
Vo: If i could only turn back the time and for this art works over again.
College 1: As he looks to their house he/she found all his/her medals and certificates of
his/her academic awards
Vo: How good it feels to be these competitive just like in the old days with no doubt and
fear.
College 2: Inside his/her old box he/she found an old notebook full of stories and
poetries.
Vo: If I could only write again with determination and not just because i have to. I used
to love to write but right now, I’m gradually losing will for it.
Scenario 3: The journey of how they will face their own struggles.
Artist: He/she goes to different places to regain his/her interest to draw again.
Vo: I won’t move forward if I don’t do anything. Trying is the best thing to do than
nothing.
College 1: He/she still confuse if the path he/she choose will be the right choice to have
a succesful future.
Vo: I want to prove to myself that there’s no turning back. I will pursue my dream. I want
to embrace my trueself to improve.
College 2: As he/she struggle on how he/she will pursue the path he/she’s not
interested in, he/she still finds a way to be a writer. He/she joins a writing contest so
he/she also can develop his/her skill.
VO: A challenge that i want to take as an opportunity to prove that even though I can’t
pursue the career I want, I will make a way to achieve it.
Scene 4: Moments of growth scenario:
( to those challenges they've face, there are also people who help them and encourage
them to improve more)
Artist : His/her received an encouragement from a friend to pursue his/her dream
inspiring to make more art work where he/she can put on a small art gallery
College 1: Some of his/her professors praise him/her for the unique skills he/she have
and for the passion to achieve his/her dream
College 2: He/she received an email that they want to promote his/her novel that he/she
write and will be published at a mini book shop
Scene 5: Embracing their journey to know their identity as the days goes by. Each
character have a chance to show how they grow and improve to come this far
Artist: I was once lost when my passion for drawing feels worthless but trying makes me
realized everything will workout. I’m proudly to say that I’m an artist.
College1: I doubt myself once if my decision will make me failure but i know those
challenges are opportunities. I’m an engineer now!
College 2: Things are never easy as i always thought. I'll never make it this far but I
realized that you don't have to rush anything to know what you really want to be.
Vo echoes: In the journey of finding ourselves, we discover the beauty of who we truly
are.
