Malaysia's Vision 2020: A New Road Map

This document provides an overview and preface to the book "Malaysia: Vision 2020 Road Map" which analyzes how and why Malaysia's original road map to achieving developed nation status by 2020 has failed in some critical areas. It outlines 9 key challenges Malaysia faces in reaching its Vision 2020 goals, including establishing a united Malaysian identity and creating a just, moral and progressive society. The book responds to calls for a new road map and national consensus to help Malaysia rebuild unity and progress towards its Vision 2020 aspirations. It draws on the author's past writings and input from various sources to identify wrong turns and propose new strategies for driving Malaysia towards becoming a developed nation by 2020.
