HOW TO PROCESS GPS DATA

1. OPEN Spectra Precision Survey Office application

2. Select New Default Project


3. Select File then Select Import
4. Click Browse , Select Destination Folder. Select GPS Sample then click Data then Ok.
5. Select ALL “ *.DAT” by pressing shift and click last file simultaneously.

6. Then click Import at the lower right..


7. Copy name in the Feature Code to Point ID
Note: The Duration of Observation Should have a minimum of 30mins. If below 30mins, uncheck Import.

8. Then click Antenna

Change all Antenna Phase Center to Top of notch. Then write the Serial Number on the right.
9. Then click Receiver

Edit Serial number. If blank, copy the first four digits from File name. if not, write the last “four digits”.
10. Click Ok

Edit later…click Ok
11. Select Project in the File Menu, then select Change Coordinate System…

12. Select Coordinate System and Zone, then select Next


13. Select UTM in the Coordinate System Group. Then 51 North in the Zone. Then Click Next.
14. Select WGS 1984 then Click Next
15. Select OSU91A (Global) then select Finish
16. Select Reference Point by dragging the mouse then right click then Select Properties.
(Note: Dapat alam mo beforehand kung ano maging reference point)
17. Click Add Coordinate
18. Coordinate Type: Change Grid to Global
19. Change Latitude, Longitude & Height base from NAMRIA CERTIFICATION. Select , then select Control Quality.

20. Select Ok.

21. The Output Diagram

BLLM 29 turn into triangle.


22. Repeat Procedure for BLLM 28. Then Select Close.

23. Insert GPS Hard drive to USB slot

24. In the File Menu, Click Select then click Select All
25. Select Process Baseline .
26. The Output

27. The Ratio shall not exceed by 20. All Solution must be FIXED, if there’s a FLOAT put a check
28. Click Save

29. In the File Menu, select View then select New Time-Based View
30. Select BLLM29-BBM149(B1), right click then select Process Baseline

The Output.
If w/in the Ratio and is Fixed, Click Save
If it is float, right click then select Session Editor. “ Edit kung san maraming putol putol, select up to 10mins then,
Select Apply Time Edits then Ok.

Then Process Baseline again, if the Ratio increases, click cancel. Go to Session Editor again select the crop portion and
Select Remove Time Slot. Repeat Procedure Until Ratio is below 20.

31. Do the same to other sessions..


32. Go back to Plan View

33. In the File Menu, go to Survey then select Adjust Network


34. Put a check on 2D and h then click Adjust

35. Go to Weighting , then click
36. Click Adjust
37. In the File Menu, Select Report then click on 4 Network Adjustment Report
The Output
38. Use GeoCalc , to convert Geodetic Coordinates to Grid Coordinates

Example for BBM14.

Do the same to BBM149 & BBM150…..

Note: Save the Project!!!
