DESCRIPTIVE TEXT
Descriptive text is a text that describes a particular object in detail. The purpose of descriptive text is to
describe an object in detail.
1. Generic Structure of Descriptive Text (Struktur Teks Deskripsi)
1. Identification : Di bagian identification, berisi pengenalan objek yang ingin dideskripsikan. Misalnya,
nama objek itu apa, dari mana objek itu berasal, atau siapa pemilik objek tersebut. Contoh:
"My father just bought a new car for me. That car has been long on my wishlist."
2. Description : berisi penjelasan yang lebih spesifik dari suatu objek. Kamu bisa menjabarkan sifat-sifat,
atau ciri-ciri fisik dan nonfisik yang ada pada objek tersebut. Contoh:
"My new car is one of the latest sport cars from Italy. The car is a two passenger-seat model or sedan
car, the one seat is for the driver and the other is for a single passenger."
