I- Project description
The maze-solving robot - also known as the micro-mouse - is designed
to find a path without any assistance or help. As a type of autonomous robot, it
must decode the path himself to successfully solve the maze. His logic is therefore
quite different from that of the line-following robot that follows a predetermined route.
1- Our objectives:
The objectives of a maze-solving robot are to:
navigate through a given maze and reach the endpoint as quickly as possible, all
by avoiding obstacles and dead ends using algorithms.
Improvement of resolution time: The robot can be designed to improve its time of
resolution using advanced sensors and machine learning techniques.
Adaptation to changing environments: the robot can be designed to adapt to
changing environments, such as mazes with moving obstacles or
dynamic lighting conditions.
The advantages of a maze-solving robot are:
Efficiency: a robot can navigate through a maze quickly and efficiently, finding
potentially the solution faster than a human.
Repeatability: A robot can be programmed to solve the same task multiple times.
maze, which allows for obtaining coherent and precise results.
Exploration: a robot can be used to explore and map environments
unknown or dangerous, such as disaster areas or underground caves.
Autonomy: A robot can operate autonomously, without human intervention, this
which allows for increased security and flexibility.
Educational: a maze-solving robot can be used as a learning tool for
teaching programming, robotics, and problem-solving.
Global function
The robot must allow its user to participate in the Robot Challenge. To
it must be able to move on a hard and smooth surface, move forward, move backward,
turn right and left to avoid obstacles. It must also complete the
following conditions.

V- Security
A safety section for a maze-solving robot may include the following elements
following:
Safety measures: The robot must be designed and built with safety in mind, in order to
minimize the risk of injury to humans and other living beings.
Emergency stop: The robot must be equipped with an emergency stop function, allowing to
the operator to immediately stop the robot's movement in case of emergency.
Obstacle detection and avoidance: the robot must be able to detect and avoid obstacles.
obstacles in its path, in order to avoid collisions and damage to the robot and its
environment.
Encryption and data security: the robot must be designed to protect data
sensitive, such as navigation charts and sensor data, against unauthorized access
authorized or forgery.
Compliance: The robot must comply with all laws, regulations, and standards.
industrial matters related to safety and security.

Future scope:
The future of maze robots is exciting and offers many possibilities. Here is
some areas in which maze-solving robots are likely to
develop further
Machine learning and artificial intelligence: with the advances in learning
automatic and artificial intelligence, maze-solving robots will be able to
learn from their experiences and improve their navigation skills over time.
-Navigation in unknown environments: maze-solving robots will be
used to explore and map unknown environments such as mines
underground areas, disaster-stricken zones, and extraterrestrial surfaces.
Real-time mapping: maze-solving robots will be able to create maps in
real-time information about their environment, enabling enhanced navigation and localization.
Collaborative robots: maze-solving robots will be able to work in teams, with
several robots collaborating to solve a complex maze.
Human-robot interaction: maze-solving robots will be designed to interact.
with humans, for example, to receive orders and provide feedback.
