FOUNDATION OF THE SUBJECT

In the professional field of engineering, it is necessary to use mathematical models for prediction and explanation.
of certain phenomena.

An essential mathematical model for the mechanical engineer is that of numerical methods; as they serve him.
as a calculation tool.

From the above, the need arises to implement its study in the second semester of the engineering degree.
mechanics, so that the student, by acquiring its mathematical, geometric, and analytical foundations, achieves their
subsequent application.

This subject is based on the subjects of Differential and Integral Calculus and Fundamentals of Algebra, and is
a basic subject that supports various topics of the automotive systems engineering subjects.

OBJECTIVE OF THE SUBJECT

At the end of the course, you will solve mathematical problems by applying the techniques of numerical methods. Performing
algorithms and functional programming in order to interpret results.
