WEDMORE HARVEST HOME CELEBRATES 100 YEARS

WHH 2012 CALLING ALL KINGS, QUEENS AND PRINCESSES! The Harvest Home is nearly upon us and so the Wedmore Harvest Home Committee would like to invite all children of the Parish of Wedmore to apply to be the Harvest Home King, Queen or Princess. The job involves dressing up for the day in a smart or royal costume, heading the morning procession through the village, opening the Childrens Tea Tent in the afternoon (and sitting at the top table!). There is also a prize for each of the winners of 25 together with a trophy. To apply please complete the form below, including a sentence as to why you would like to be Harvest Home King, Queen or Princess, and return this to the Harvest Home Secretary, in advance of 23rd July 2012. We will then draw the winning application from a hat during the July Committee Meeting on Wednesday 25th July 2012 and the parent/guardian will be contacted shortly after that date. The King should be a child, aged 8-12. The Queen should be a child, aged 10-12 and the Princess should be a child, aged 8-10. Please mark clearly on the form below which draw you would like to enter using a separate form for each child. Only one entry for each eligible child is allowed and all entrants must be from the Parish of Wedmore.
