UNDERSTANDING YOUR MANUALS:
FCOM
The Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM) is the supporting documentation for
flight crew. It provides the necessary information about the characteristics
operational, technical, procedural, and performance aspects of the A320 family aircraft,
to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations in normal situations and
abnormal / emergency situations that can occur on the ground or in flight.

FCTM
The Flight Crew Techniques Manual (FCTM) is published as a supplement to the Flight
Crew Operating Manual (FCOM) and is designed to provide pilots
practical information on how to operate the Airbus aircraft. It should be read in
together with the FCOM. In case of any conflict, the information from the FCOM has
priority over the FCTM. Specific policies of each operator and operations
Specials may differ in certain areas and are described in the Airline policy.

QRH
The QRH contains some specific procedures that are not displayed on the ECAM.
As a general rule, the procedures displayed in the ECAM are not provided in the QRH.
(consult FCOM PRO / ABN). It also contains an extensive amount of
information that requires quick retrieval. Like tables,
summaries, and procedures.

MGO - General Operations Manual

The aim of the General Operations Manual is to establish and standardize rules and
procedures related to the operation of the Company's aircraft. The MGO is directed to
pilots and flight dispatchers.

INSTRUCTION MANUAL - Technical Crew

The instruction manual defines the entire selection process, training, and criteria
evaluation that the pilots will undergo during their operational training. Brings
also a detailed description of the observable behaviors related
to the human factors related to the operation.

RTM - Temporary Review of Manual

Provisional document that provides guidelines to the entire Operations Vice-Presidency
Maintenance and its subsequent areas regarding new procedures and topics
that require immediate knowledge from pilots, cabin crew, and DOVs. The
the document will have fields indicating: the target audience (pilots and/or DOVs),
document and aircraft that were affected. In this way, the document will be
included in the periodic revisions of the following manuals: MGO/FCOM/QRH/
FCTM/MRA/ETOPS/ Santos Dumont Airport.
