THEME: RESEARCH PROJECTS
They are proposals for generating knowledge that is new and/or technological, with objectives.
defined that following the scientific method leads to verifiable and evaluable results.
CHARACTERISTICS OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
It is systematic, because it implies that there is a discipline
constant.
It is controlled because the facts or phenomena are
deeply investigated.
It is empirical because its study is derived from reality,
they are observable facts.
It is critical, as it objectively evaluates the results, without interference.
the personal preferences and value judgments of the researcher.
HOW DOES A RESEARCH START? Every research is structured on the basis of a
idea. Ideas can arise from individual or group experiences from written sources,
of observed or described facts, etc. Once the idea is established, after delving into the topic
chosen, we proceed to state the problem. In stating the problem, it is necessary to establish the
objectives taking into account what is pursued, what is investigated and what justifies carrying out such
research. Then, the theoretical framework is established by gathering and analyzing all the information
that exists regarding the subject. Below, the hypotheses that will serve as guidelines are formulated
you need the research, which are considered as the answers or explanations
attempts of the investigation. Finally, it is experimentation that will give validity to the
hypothesis and its results will be the explanations or conclusions drawn from the problem
investigated.
STEPS OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT
1. Observation: To conduct a research project, one must first observe a
problem, choose the topic and specify the area to which it belongs.
2. Diagnosis of the Problem. The problem is clearly identified, then, the ...
causes and consequences of the problem, determining the dependent and independent variables
independent.
3. Justification: It is clearly specified why and for what purpose it is intended to carry out the
research.
4. Information Gathering: It is investigated whether there is documentation on projects that
they have worked on the same topic. The conclusions or results obtained are noted.
5. Objectives: The general objective and the specific objectives are stated clearly and precisely.
to determine where you want to go.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To raise awareness and achieve a change in attitude among students towards
environmental conservation, reducing the inherent risks of pollution.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE: Decrease the excess of garbage in the classrooms.
6. Hypothesis: the possible answers to the selected problem.
The excessive use of disposable products leads to the accumulation of waste.
7. Methodological design. The steps of the scientific method for analysis are defined.
systematic of the problem, with the incorporation of the experiences of the participants.
8. Schedule of activities: based on the objectives, the responsible parties for each
activity, the materials and costs for its execution.
9. Communication of results: A report is prepared with the results and the bibliography.
used, to later spread it.
Activity
1. Propose a topic to be addressed to develop a project of
research.
2. dependent variable of your project
3. Elaborate the objectives, hypotheses, and activity schedule.
4. Create a visual organizer of the topic.
5. Look for new words and with the help of the dictionary
conceptualize them

PROJECT. They are sequences of relevant, planned activities that arise from a need or
concrete problem of the students in the classroom and/or educational institution, which aims to develop
skills, solve a specific problem or obtain a product.
