THE POWER OF RESTORATION

Introduction: Jesus raised the son of the widow of Nain, restored him, returned him to life.
he returned it... I think this mother loved her son more and the son loved more to
his mother, there were changes in that relationship, there was renewal in their filial love...
God has the power to restore all things. Let's see:

THE POWER OF RESTORATION

I. DEFINITION OF THE WORD RESTORATION:

A. In Hebrew, it means: renew, repair, restore.

Note: in the A.T. this word is generally used for

referring to the reconstruction of the Lord's Temple... today we are
temple of the Holy Spirit of God...

B. In Greek, it means: to rebuild, to put in order,

reset.

Note: just like in the A.T., the term generally refers to

the reconstruction...

C. The plan of salvation is a plan of restoration.

Note: In Eden, God's plan was damaged because God wanted

to govern the earth through man, and with Adam's disobedience,
the devil took authority and the sad consequences came, but God
starts a restoration plan...

II. GOD SENT HIS SON TO REPAIR THE ORIGINAL PLAN:

A. Christ is the last Adam, 1 Cor. 15:45,47.

 Note: The relationship here is very clear, a first Adam who failed and a
poster Adam (Christ) who came to restore or repair the damage that occurred in
the Eden...

Christ came to fulfill the divine purpose, Gal. 4:4.

Note: The psalmist said: 'In your hands are my times' (Ps. 31:5), God
he always moves in his time. You are a divine purpose and have
born in the time of God. Christ had to face:

Rejection by religious authorities (priests, scribes, and Pharisees...)

Rejection and disbelief from his family,
3. Slander from their opponents,
4. Disdain in various places (e.g., the Gadarenes... in Nazareth...)

strengthened in God and was able to overcome, because the Word of God is fulfilled

III. CHRIST IS OUR INSPIRATION:

A. Death could not hold him, Luke 24:1-3.

Luke 24:4-7, the word resurrection (gr. anastasis) means to rise up.

THE RESTORATION OF THE HEART

Introduction: We often fail to understand why we have

certain behaviors that we do not like and that displease God, to
sometimes we are rebellious to the Lord, at other times we hurt our
loved ones, and other times we ask ourselves why we do not grow in
the Lord?… Let us remember that Israel is the people of God, many times
he maintained a hostile and harsh attitude towards the Lord, sometimes compared to
Sodom and Gomorrah. That is why it is not enough to attend the temple, it is necessary
a real and transformative encounter in the presence of God...
 THE RESTORATION OF THE HEART

I. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

A. It is a plan of God.

Note: The Lord has established to restore man and his creation. This
purpose requires labor from within the human being, that is to say
from its heart, it is a comprehensive and profound plan that only the power of
God can reach.

B. It involves a divine process.

Note: This work is not immediate. It begins when we deliver it.

III. WHAT ARE THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE RESTORATION OF

HEART?

A. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Isaiah 53:4-5.

bad intentions and wrong motives of the heart.

C. The powerful action of the Holy Spirit, Isaiah 61:1-4.

Note: The passage shows the Lord's will for His children:
restoration, holistic health, liberation for the captives and the oppressed
spiritual, consolation, restoration, peace, and joy… Today we are in
the ministry of the Holy Spirit and this is what he wants to bring for his
town.

Conclusion: God is all-powerful and desires to do His work in the

deep in the heart, just waiting for a humble approach,
sincere and genuine, the Holy Spirit wants to help us... 'for this

THEME: RESTORED TO RESTORE

Ephesians 4:17-32

Let's start our topic by learning or recalling what the word restore means;

If it is possible to restore a work of art, furniture, a house, etc., how much more us who
we are the greatest creation of God, and we were created in His image and likeness, WE HAVE
THAT HAVING A DIVINE IDENTITY, With which we were created EPHESIANS 4:24 Therefore
Many areas of our life need to be restored, first ourselves in order to be
channel of blessing, because from what I have I give:

A. If I am a bitter person, I will transmit bitterness.

B. If my heart is full of hatred, I will not be able to love

C. If my heart is full of resentment, it will not be easy for me to believe in others because
I will always think that everyone who approaches me is to do me harm.

GOD COMMANDS US TO RENEW OURSELVES: (ROMANS 12:2)
HOW DID WE ACHIEVE IT?
A. NOT ADAPTING TO THE FORMS OF THIS WORLD: Let us remember that the word of
God tells us that the world and its delights pass away 1 JOHN 2:17, that's why the Lord tells us that
let's not adapt to anything from this world.

B. NOT WALKING IN THE VANITY OF OUR MIND EPHESIANS 4:17, Let us remember from
Solomon who was in the vanity of this world, and his conclusion was: ECCLESIASTES 1: 14,
we are never satisfied with anything, every day we want to experience new things, seek new ones
experiences; let's look at what Solomon said ECCLESIASTES 2: 1-11.

NOTHING SATISFIED HIM:

Neither the liquor

b) Neither to experience what others did

neither having planted many vines, nor gardens, nor orchards, nor fruit trees

f) Not all kinds of animals

g) Not all the wealth he could accumulate (gold, silver, treasures, etc.)

It seems impossible to say as this man did, who had it all, who denied nothing to his eyes and
that he did not turn his heart away from pleasure, that all was vanity. (Ecclesiastes 2:11), therefore not

can fill it is the Lord, Solomon came to that conclusion ECCLESIASTES 12:13, Walk in the
vanity of our mind, clouds our understanding, and separates us from God.

2. HOW DO WE RENEW OUR MIND?

A. STRIPPING OFF THE OLD MAN EPHESIANS 4:22, That old man is corrupted by
deceptive wishes. Such as:

c) Disordered passions

f) All of this is classified in the word in GALATIANS 5:17

B. RENEWING OUR MIND IN THE SPIRIT (GALATIANS 5:16-18-25), if we live by

HOW CAN WE ACHIEVE IT?

a) Putting on the new man (EPHESIANS 4:24).

b) Discarding the lie (The Lord says we must always speak the truth)

c) To be angry but not to sin (Do not let anger take control of us; let us remember that anger

d) Do not steal (This can include not robbing others of their honor and many more things)

e) Removing all dishonest and corrupted words from our mouths, the word says in the
Psalm 19:14

f) Rekindling the fire of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The word teaches us to be
filled with the Holy Spirit, EPHESIANS 5:18

g) Putting away all bitterness, wrath, anger, shouting, slander (speaking ill of others), and all malice.

h) Being kind (Having good will for everything)

i) Being merciful (Remember that the merciful attain mercy)

j) Forgivers, let us remember that if we do not forgive, we will not be forgiven.

With a renewed mind, we will see our lives changed; we will be

RESTORED TO RESTORE AND THIS IS HOW WE CAN BE:

Better parents

d) Better husbands

e) Best friends

f) Best workers

g) Etc.

CONCLUSION:
The Lord tells us that if we truly convert, he will restore us, JEREMIAH 15:19: By
Therefore, thus says the Lord: If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me; and if
You will extract the precious from the worthless; you will be like my mouth. Let them turn to you, and you shall not...
convert them. Let us be new creatures in the Lord.

Living from memories is bad, memories don't inspire you, what inspires you is what you have to see.

Nehemiah 9 and 10
A couple of years ago, the refrigerator in our house broke down. It was something like this.

our life. On this occasion, I want to talk about restoration. Restoration is a work

leave it as it was before, as in the beginning.

Spiritual restoration is something that is rarely mentioned. But restoration means that
