CHILDREN'S RIGHTS

Did you know that as a child, you have rights?

In 1959, the UN (United Nations) wrote and

approved the "Declaration of the Rights of the Child".

This declaration consists of 10 very simple articles that

they say about what you can do and what the people responsible for
you must do to be happy, healthy and feel safe.
Of course you also have responsibilities towards others.
children and with the adults so that they too can enjoy their own
rights.)

Shall we get to know the 10 principles of the 'Declaration...'?

First Principle
Every child will benefit from these rights, without any
discrimination based on race, color, sex, language, religion, country of origin
social class or economic situation. Every single child of
the world must have its rights respected!

Second Principle
All children have the right to special protection and to all
facilities and opportunities to fully develop, with freedom and dignity.
Laws should take into account the best interests of the child.

Third Principle
From the day a child is born, every child has the right to a name and a nationality, or
be, to be a citizen of a country.

Fourth Principle
Children have the right to grow and develop in good health. For this, future mothers also
have the right to special care so that their children can be born healthy. All the
children also have the right to food, housing,
recreation and medical assistance.

Fifth Principle
Children with physical or mental disabilities should receive
education and special care required by your condition
particular. Because they deserve respect like anyone
child.

6th Principle
Every child should grow up in an environment of love, safety, and understanding.
children should be raised under the care of their parents, and the youngest should never
separate from the mother, unless necessary (for the well-being of the child). The government and the
society has the obligation to provide special care for children who do not have
family nor money to live decently.

Seventh Principle
Every child has the right to receive free primary education, and it should also be of good quality.
so that they can have equal opportunities to develop their skills.
And since playing is also a good way to learn, children also have all the
right to play and have fun!

Eighth Principle
Be it in an emergency or an accident, or in any other case, the child
should be the first to receive protection and assistance from adults.

9th Principle
No child should suffer from neglect (bad care or lack of attention
neither by cruelty and exploitation nor by the responsibility of those in charge or the government.
It will never be an object of trafficking (taken from the parents and sold and bought by
other people).
No child shall work before the minimum age, nor shall be forced to
engage in activities that harm your health, education, and development.

10th Principle
The child should be protected against any type of prejudice, whether based on race or religion.
or social position. Every child should grow up in an environment of understanding, tolerance.
and friendship, of peace and of universal brotherhood.

If all of this is fulfilled, in the future children will be able to live in society as good
adults and contribute to other children also living happily!
