ANALYSIS HYPOTHESIS
The analysis of the portal was done with the program SAP2000 v16.0.0. The
the model was analyzed considering only the structural elements, without
however, the non-structural elements have been included in the
model as load requests, because they are not
important in the contribution to the stiffness and strength of the
building.
PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS
For the analysis and design of the structure, the values have been adopted.
210 kg/cm2
VERTICAL LOADS
The vertical loads were evaluated according to the Load standard, E-
020.
The weights of the beams and columns were estimated based on their
actual dimensions, considering a specific weight of 2400 kg/m3. Se
considered a load of 100 kg/m2for coverage (brick
pastry chef
For the live load, 250 kg/m was chosen.2since the building is for use
of study center.
2
After establishing the location, shape, and distribution of the elements
structural, the pre-dimensioning of the elements is carried out in which
Procedure establishes dimensions of its sections that are close to the
required by the design.
PRE-DIMENSIONING OF COLUMNS
The criterion used for the preliminary sizing of the columns is based on
mainly in the actual behavior of a column in which a plays a
axial force at a certain eccentricity or distance from its centroid for which it
analyzes its structural behavior taking into account flexo-compression
due to the axial force and the moment generated by the same with the
excentricity, the area of the column will be calculated first by
the measured value and the axial load will be replaced in the formula
next:

Where:
α = value that corresponds to the column if it is corner, edge, or central
3
PRE-DIMENSIONING OF BEAMS
The beams were sized for our case considering a depth of the
order from 1/10 to 1/12 of free light, considering a height that is included
the thickness of the ceiling or floor slab, for the width it was taken into account that
ranges from 0.3 to 0.5 of the height. Additionally, what is stated in the standard was considered.
Peruvian reinforced concrete E.060 which establishes that beams must have
a minimum width of 25cm in cases where they form ports or
earthquake-resistant elements of reinforced concrete, however, this
Limitation does not include beams that do not form frames that have a width of
15 to 20 cm.
