GLOBAL METHOD OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS.


Reading and the method.

Reading is suggested to be intelligent, to contain ideas. That is why the Method


Global aims to teach children to engage in reading where, instead of
to memorize, it may have an understanding.

The essential parts are:

Observe sheets.
Make a story from the board illustration.
Present a poster with the story.
Make another poster to cut out and match the sentences.
Divide the sentences into phrases, words, and phonetic analysis.

Characteristics of the method:

Eliminate mechanical reading.


Remove the broken lines as preparatory exercise for the
writing.
We start to write compound words or phrases.
Teach reading and writing simultaneously.
The drawing is part of writing as it is introduced freely.
The use of vocabulary and one's own language is facilitated.
The practice of writing is closely related to reading.

Execution steps:

The teacher writes a story with the help of the student. He guides the
student with questions. The story will be written on the board.
2. The teacher copies the story, which is already written on the board, in two
posters. One with a picture or drawing. The other just with the sentences.
3. The story is presented on the poster along with the illustration. The teacher will guide in
Reading the story. It will be read by: The whole group, By gender, Individually.
4. Reading of the poster that was used the day before. Another poster will be presented. It

different order than they appear in the story.
5. The sentences are presented in the strips. They are read and paired with those of
