Introduccion
Hello, how are you? My name is Miguel Muñoz Serafín, responsible for the training 'Introduction to
[Link] Core.
Currently, one of the web application development technologies that has gained significant attention
impact of [Link] Core. Some of the factors we can highlight about [Link] Core are that
in addition to being an open-source framework, it provides us with tools for development of
cross-platform applications, which means we can now develop Web applications and
hosting them on Windows, Linux, or macOS servers.
This training arises from the need to create an introductory learning guide on
[Link] Core. Throughout this training, theoretical concepts and a series of
exercises aimed at introducing the participant to web application development
using the [Link] Core framework and Visual Studio in a simple and practical way.
Information for this training has been taken from official Microsoft sites, as well as from the
interaction with the [Link] development groups.
We have developed the content of this training with special collaboration from Yazmín Nabor.
López, who has taken it upon himself to design the material by presenting it in a series of step-by-step exercises.
a step to facilitate learning.
Yazmin has a degree in Computer Science, she began her professional career in 2004.
software development by participating in multiple projects developed on the .NET platform.
Since 2014, he has been part of the IT Training team, mainly participating in the area of
software development and content generation.

In this module, an introduction to .NET Core, [Link] Core, and to development is presented.
web applications with [Link] Core. The steps to follow to prepare the environment are described
development with Visual Studio for the creation of web applications with [Link] Core. It includes
Exercises to create web applications UI MVC, web UI Razor Pages, and web API using C# and [Link]
Core.
Audience
This module is aimed at developers with experience in web application development with
[Link] MVC and C#.
Objectives
Upon completing this module, participants will have the skills and knowledge to:
Requirements
In order to complete the exercises in this module, it is necessary to have the following:
• A development team with Visual Studio 2017. The free version can be used.
Studio Community that can be downloaded from the following link:

The examples described in this module were designed with Visual Studio Enterprise 2017
on a machine with Windows 10 Pro.
Module content
The content of this training consists of 4 lessons.
This lesson provides an introduction to .NET Core and [Link] Core. It also describes
the steps to follow to prepare the development environment with Visual Studio for the creation of
web applications with [Link] Core. Exercises are provided to create a Hello application
World! both with .NET Core and with [Link] Core using the tool dotnet and Visual Studio.
Additionally, the purpose of the class Startup is explained.
This lesson presents an introduction to [Link] Core MVC and provides the steps to
create a web UI application with [Link] Core MVC and C# from Visual Studio. The use of is explained
services applying the Dependency Injection (DI) technique.
In this lesson, the steps to create a web application UI Razor Pages with [Link] are provided.
Core and C# from Visual Studio. An introduction to Razor Pages is provided, the new feature.
of [Link] Core 2.0 that makes coding page-centric scenarios easier and
productive.
This lesson presents an introduction to web API application development with [Link] Core.
MVC and C# from Visual Studio. Throughout this lesson, a web API will be developed using the
new Web API template.

Lesson Objectives
At the end of this lesson, participants will be able to:
• .NET Core is a cross-platform, open-source framework for building modern applications. It allows developers to create applications that can run on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

.NET Core is a modular, cross-platform, and open-source implementation of the .NET Standard.
designed to be portable across platforms in order to allow code reuse for
maximum and its shared use. It contains many of the same APIs as the .NET Framework
(but .NET Core is a smaller set) and includes runtime components

Traditional desktop Windows, as well as Windows devices and phones. When used
tools like Xamarin, .NET Core are portable for iOS and Android devices. Moreover, .NET
Core is available for Mac and Linux operating systems to allow web applications
