Codes used from the National Structural Codes of the Philippines (NSCP) 2015
To ensure the quality and structural integrity, the utilization of various codes and
standards is the key concept to make the proposed social condominium complex in
Brgy. Buenavista III, City of General Trias, Cavity feasible. Presented in the Table below
are the codes used in the design process.

The requirement of Section [Link].1 that all
significant modes be included may be satisfied by
demonstrating that for the modes considered, at least Section [Link].2
90 percent of the participating mass of the structure is
included in the calculation of response for each
principal horizontal direction.
For all regular structures where the ground motion Section [Link].4, Item 1
representation complies with Section [Link]. Item
1, Elastic Response Parameters may be reduced
such that the corresponding design base shear is not
less than 90 percent of the base shear determined in
accordance with Section 208.5.2.
Calculated story drift using AM shall not exceed 0.025
times the storey height for structures having a
fundamental period of less than 0.7 sec. For Section [Link]
structures having a fundamental period of 0.7 sec or
greater, the calculated storey drift shall not exceed
0.20 times the storey.
