If You Believe

Once upon a time in a village, there was a poor young man named Tirta. He worked a the
attle guard. And he stayed in a rice barn owned by the place his working. Tirta is never forget
to pray. He prayed
“Dear God, I have worked hard, but I am still poor,please help me so that I can be happy
people,” whispered Tirta in hks praying.
One night, he had a dream. There something coming toward him and have a loud voice an
said that tomorrow he will find something. And ask him to take care of that thing whom make
him happy.
The next morning he fell on the ground, and his hand holding a bunch of grass. He is thinking
that the grass will make him happy. Then he go to the old people’s house and told about his
dream and the grass. The old people say that if tirta belive that, that is not impossible for him.
On the way home, he make the grass to a shape of little bird. At the time, there was a
[Link] the carriage there were a mom and her son. The son kept watching the toy
hold by tirta. The son wanted the toy and tirta give the toy (grass). The mom give him a
watermelon for the pay.
Tirta continued his walking and meet the old man sit under a tree that very thirsty. Tirta divde
the watermelon into 2 piece and give him. The old man give him a dagger because of his
kindness.
Tirta walked again. his meet with a soldier who rode a horse. The horse fell down and the
soldier too. Tirta help the soldier and give the dagger where is king’s dagger. The soldier say
thanks and as the gift his gifted the horse and a pocket of gold to Tirta. Tirta go to the farm
for give the horse food. He buy the food with the pocket of gold where is too much for
paying.
After that he decide to ride the horse around the city. He saw many people busy to move a
house’s stuff to another place from the big house. He helped the house’s keeper to move the
stuff. After that, the house’s keeper want to exchange the horse with a piece of land and the
place to stayed.
He work in the piece of land and be a rich people now. But he never forgot to pray even he
was a rich people. When his pray, he remember the old people who tell him to keep the grass.
Then he go to the old people’s house and say that he is the rich people now. Tirta married
with the grand daughter who is the daughter of the (dagger) soldier.
 Sukri and The Rabbit
Once upon a time in a village, there was a young man named Sukri. Everyday he looked for
some woods in forest then sell it to the market.
One day, after selling the woods in the market, on his way home he saw a rabbit was trapped
in hunter’s trap. Then he tried to release the rabbit from the hunter’s trap. The rabbit was very
happy. He was running around Sukri’s feet.
Arribing at home, Sukri then made a cup of hot drink and prepared his dinner. But, when he
started to enjoy it, there was someone knocking at the door. When he opened the door, The
girl trembeled with cold. Then the girl entered the house and sit a chair
Sukri walked to his kitchen and he brought a hot drink for the girl. After it Sukri ask to The
girl where is she want to go. The girl answered it that she want to visit her friend but she
confused and getting lost. The girl promise to sukri that she want spend the night at sukri’s
house and Sukri allowed it then Sukri show the room for the girl. Sukri asked to the girl’s
name and his name is Sukma.
In the next day, Sukri was trying to find Sukma’s friend address. But he couldn’t find it. And
after it sukma doesn’t want to go home and wanto to stay here with sukri and asked to sukri
take Sukma as his wife. Sukri felt happy to hear that
After they married, Sukri do daily activity like usual sell the wood in the market and Sukma
cleaned and tidied the house. After Sukri selling the wood and arriving at home he got
surprised from Sukma and got the good cloth from Sukma. Sukri’s mind this cloth if selling
at the town got high price and it cloth sold. When Sukri arriving at home he look so very
happy. In the next day Sukri asked to Sukma to make cloth so many to Selling to the town
because so many request from the king and Sukma do it. When sukma finished it she look so
unhealthy. Sukri so pitied about Sukma’s condition.
In the next day, the king asked one cloth again for his wife. But Sukri Pitied to her wife
because her condition. If request of the king isn’t granted the king so angry and will give
punishment to sukri. And Sukri asked to her wife to make it and Sukma do it for the last
request. After Sukma made the last cloth from the room pull out the rabbit. Actually Sukma is
Rabbit Helped few months ago and she turning to human to repay Sukri’s kindness. Sukri’s
so regret it and want to Sukma turning to human again
 Five Parrots
Long time ago there was family consisted of parents and their five sons. They didn’t have
daughter yet. They really wanted a daughter. Finally they have a baby girl and very happy.
But the baby’s condition was really weak
A traditional healer in near the forest which was not far from their house. The father asked
one of his oldest son to take the water in the forest and the four other sons followed the oldest
son. At first, the father didn’t allow them the follow taking the water, he afraid they just
played there. But, because they kept asking, finally the father allowed them
Then they went to the forest. Each of them wanted to take the water. Really loved their only
sister. Arriving at the well inside the forest. They tried to be the first who took the water. But
suddenly the “kendi” fell into the well. They were shocked and didn’t know what to do.
The father waited his sons at home he was impatient to wait for them then the father was
angry because he afraid his daughter’s illness was getting he then cursed his five sons. Not so
long after that he saw five parrots flew away from his house. The father now was really sad.
He felt sorry about his curse toward his five sons he didn’t know how to take his curse again.
Years gone by, the baby girls grew up and became the beautiful girl. The girl never knew that
actually she had five brothers. Her parents never told her about [Link] one day, he heard
the neighbor’s talk about his brother. After that the girls ask to her parent about her brothers
and her parent told about it. The girl soo sad because her brother become five parrots.
