Section – A (1 mark each = 5 marks)


1. Write in words: 4,08,507.
2. Write the successor of 9,99,999.
3. Check whether 512 is divisible by 8.
4. Write the first three multiples of 9.

Section – B (2 marks each = 10 marks)


6. Arrange in descending order: 57,890; 5,78,900; 5,07,089; 50,789.
7. Write the Roman numeral for 248.
8. Write all factors of 54.
9. Find the HCF of 48 and 72 using the division method.
10. Write two prime numbers whose sum is 60.

Section – C (3 marks each = 15 marks)


11. A number is divisible by both 4 and 6. Prove that it is also divisible by 12 with an example.
12. Write all prime numbers between 90 and 120. Which are twin primes?
13. Find the LCM of 45, 75, and 90.
14. A shopkeeper has 420 apples and 360 oranges. He wants to make fruit baskets with equal
number of fruits and no fruit left. Find the maximum number of baskets he can make.
15. Find the smallest 4-digit number divisible by 7, 9, and 12.

Section – D (5 marks each = 20 marks)


16. Write the greatest 7-digit number using digits 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 (without repeating). Express it as
a product of prime factors.
17. A hall can be filled with either 252 chairs or 378 stools. Find the least capacity of the hall.
18. The product of two consecutive odd numbers is 6,195. Find the numbers.
19. A farmer has three fields measuring 2,340 m, 3,510 m, and 4,680 m in length. He wants to
divide them into strips of equal width. Find the greatest possible width of the strip.
