- I have greatly been able to develop my own skill set and abilities in the business and management
field thereby improving my core transferable skills. This has greatly helped me to focus on my own
abilities and widen my opportunities to develop my career. There are certain abilities that I have
been able to work on and improve that have helped me to widen the scope for my career choices.
The first skill includes my development in carrying out an effective communication, which has helped
me to share my ideas with other people and understand the job market better. This skill is of great
help to meet to carry out an effective interaction with the customers and my fellow bosses and
colleagues thereby charming them with my persona. The second skill that I believe has developed in
me is the ability to manage the time. By learning about the setting of budget and a time scale, I have
been able to use my time wisely and use it to manage the time effectively. This also widened my job
opportunities since time management is a crucial aspect of every organization. This has in turn
helped me to stay on track, prioritize, and meet the tasks in time. This has also helped me to manage
my stress and obtain success in many fields. The third skill, which I have developed, is self-
motivation. This has not only widened my enthusiasm while working and fining the assignments, but
has also helped me to mitigate all the challenges of my life. By mastering this skill, I have also been
able to increase my learning abilities and dictate success. This also widens the possibility of
improving my potentials and helps me in my future career growth. The forth skill which I consider to
be my strength is the ability to lead and collaborate with others thereby mixing with people easily.
This not only has helped me to widen my leadership power but has also helped me to improve my
commitment and focus followed by an increased confidence.

In the short term, for the first we need to set a clear goal and answer to the questions what will we
need to be successful. We also need to learn to set the right priorities and learn how to use the most
effective information cite sources, such as AU Harvard and others.

In the medium term, we need to do properly compose, group and use our knowledge and skills, be
able to effectively and quickly use IT programs such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
In the long term, it is important to have a great time management and the own presentation . It is
important to have fundamental knowledge, have planning and be able to talk about own
achievements, use knowledge in a practice.

Task 2 - Academic Integrity and Referencing.

Academic Integrity (250words)
Academic integrity, in my opinion, means to be diligent and independent in learning, honestly get
grades and be responsible for their own actions. It is important to be fair, not to appropriate the
achievements of others, to have mutual respect and behave with dignity during the learning process.
When creating their own projects, if using supporting information, students must follow the rules,
namely not to include in their project other people's work without reference to them.

Demonstrating honesty and morality towards the work given and having commitment towards the
work assigned is called Academic Integrity. It is a very important aspect in any institute’s curriculum.
This tests the student’s professionalism and sincerity towards the course. The rules set by an
educational institute that define the academic integrity, have a major role in estimating the standard
of education offered. Though in many countries it is not treated importantly, in United States, it is of
utmost importance. Action can be taken on students who do not follow these rules.

would affect student’s career. Being caught in any kind of academic misconduct affects not only a
student’s life in university but also affects his overall career. It remains as a mark in their profile.
International students especially should be really careful about this, as it is considered a serious
offense in the United Kingdom and can be expelled from the country and may not return too.

Referencing (250 words)
Referencing is an important part of academic work. It puts students work in context, demonstrates
the breadth and depth of their research, and acknowledges other people’s work. Student should
reference whenever they use someone else’s idea. Referencing correctly:

 helps student to avoid plagiarism by making it clear which ideas are your own and which are
someone else’s

 shows students understanding of the topic

 gives supporting evidence for ideas, arguments and opinions

 allows others to identify the sources student have used.

Harvard referencing, the most commonly used style at UK universities, uses author–date in-text

Online Delivery and Assessment during COVID-19: Safeguarding Academic Integrity

Summary of Key Points:

Academic dishonesty is a nationwide concern. Despite the changing academic situation during the
COVID-19 pandemic, academic integrity and assessment security are still indispensable in the higher
education sector. However, there is still a lack of institutional provisions for academic integrity
management in the context of COVID-19. Existing resources are inadequate to conduct high-stake
assessments such as viva, thesis submissions and benchmark examinations.

For better management of academic integrity during online delivery and assessment during COVID-
19, academic staff and faculties need to be equipped with procedural support that provides moral
support for faculties. Resourcing and preparation are of the utmost importance in raising awareness
and disseminating information on academic integrity policy, practices, expectations, disciplinary
action and developmental tools to mitigate academic misconduct.

efficacy of these resources. Using focus group methodology, the authors explored student and
faculty perspectives about citation practices through their use of the library’s online referencing

I have taken several classes during my time at university in this unit, yet I have participated in various
activities to help me acquire and retain my learning abilities. I participated in a variety of tasks, such
as going to a class where some of the knowledge I acquired was clearly illustrated. In addition, I
studied a lot of seminars, which helped me to comprehend those abilities. Furthermore, I exercised;
these exercises were crucial in enabling me to comprehend the intellectual achievements I would
need to use for both my studies and my work. The courses offered in the ASP modules were so well
created to aid the learner in learning and comprehending every subject. While many of the lectures
were group-based, some were individual. The purpose of these sessions would be to thoroughly
examine the learning capacity that was taught in class (Brick, et al. 2020). A weekly work or exam
alternative was used to gauge my comprehension. This activity also aided in my comprehension of all
the requirements for such abilities I was given during the week. I have the chance to pick up certain
skills and knowledge in the classroom that will be useful in my educational life. Writing skills,

Pros- The Cornell technique has the benefit of pre-organizing your notes in a logical, readable
format. This makes it simple to locate our thoughts from certain lectures and helps students recall
the important ideas covered in each session.

Cons - Greater thinking is needed in the classroom to properly organize. When required, this
method might not display connections by order. To maximize education and questioning
implementation, it does not contribute to the variety of a reviewing attachment. If the discussion is
moving too quickly, such an approach cannot be employed.
