Introduction

Victory School is a school offering a wide range of co-curricular activities besides the formal
curriculum i.e clubs and societies. These clubs and societies are student test provide a platform
for students to come together and pursue their interests and hobbies.

The school offers clubs like Debating Club, Chess Club, Science Club, Math Club, Drama
Club, Music Club (Band, Choir, Instrumental), Art Club, Writing Club, Environmental
Club, Computer Science Club, Photography Club, and Agriculture Club.

After admission in the school, a student is required to register as a member of one of the clubs.
Some of the details needed for registration include admission number, name, and their class
are captured.

A member joining a club has to pay a non-refundable registration fee, which varies per club:

 Debate club, Chess club and Music club require a fee of Ksh200 each
 Science club, Math club, Drama club, Writing club, and Computer Science Clubs
require a fee of Ksh250 each
 Art club and Agriculture Clubs require a fee of Ksh300 each
 Environmental Club requires a fee of Ksh100

There are two classifications of members:

1. General/Regular members – Those who participate in club activities.


2. Executive leaders – Those who hold specific leadership positions.

Each club has a patron (a teacher) who mentors and advises students. Clubs should also
generate revenue to support their activities.

Revenue and Allocation

Each club must keep records of its activities, including:

 Activity name
 Date of occurrence
 Amount collected

Out of the total revenue generated from club activities and registration fees:

 50% is allocated to support ongoing club activities.


 30% is allocated to organizing the club’s annual parties or outings outside the school.
 The remaining balance is saved for the club.

The school supports clubs’ annual parties or outings by contributing 70% of the money
allocated for the activity.
