The Problem and Its Background
Background of the Study
Faculty members play a crucial role in integrating technology into the classrooms to
enhance student learning. This research topic study faculty perceptions on the effectiveness of
using technology to improve student outcomes. It examines not only the widespread of
technology but also the nuanced challenges, opportunities, and future directions for integrating
technology effectively to enhance the student learning.
The importance of this study will provide a comprehensive understanding of faculty
perceptions and technology use in Enrile Vocational Highschool, paving the way for informed
decision-making and the development of effective strategies to enhance student learning.
Technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in education, and it is important to
understand how faculty members perceive its use in enhancing student learning and also a
faculty perceptions can influence the successful implementation of technology in the classroom
can help identify professional development needs and inform the development of effective
technology integration strategies in understanding faculty perceptions can help create a
supportive environment for technology use in education. The research findings can contribute to
the existing body of knowledge on technology integration in education.

The purpose of this research is to understand how teachers at Enrile Vocational High
School view the use of technology in helping students learn. This information can be used to
improve the way technology is used in the classroom and to make sure that teachers have the
support they need to use technology effectively.
Statement of the Problem
This study examines how faculty members utilize technology to support the development of
their students.
Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:
1)What are the challenges that faculty members face in integrating technology into their
teaching?
2)How do faculty members perceive the effectiveness of technology in achieving learning
outcomes?
3)What are the advantages and disadvantages of using technology in teaching?
Scope and Delimitation of the Study
The study will also examine how faculty members believe technology can be used to
create more engaging and effective learning environments. This will also not evaluate the
effectiveness of specific technologies or teaching methods.
Significance of the study
This study will be beneficial to the following:
Students. Through this study will provide students with access to a wider range of learning
materials, including online resources, simulations, and interactive tools.

Educators. This study may be able to harness the power of technology to enhance student
learning and create a more engaging and effective educational experience.
Researchers. Through this study, they may be able to contribute to the development of effective
and equitable technology-enhanced learning environments.
Future researcher. This study may delve deeper into the relationship between technology use,
pedagogical practices, and student outcomes. Researchers can contribute to a more informed and
effective use of technology in education.
Definition of terms
Faculty- refers to the academic staff at a educational institution, like university.
Perception- how we interpret sensory information and the underlying mechanism that influence
this process.
Technology- application of scientific knowledge. enhancing, improving or making something
better actively engaged in learning.
Student- a person who is actively engaged in learning.
Learning- process of acquiring knowledge, skills or behaviors.
Vocational School- trade school or technical school providing student to enhance their skills
needed for a particular job or career.
