IV. MGA HAKBANG SA PAGTUTURO AT PAGKATUTO (Procedures)


A. Drill  Name the objects in the pictures. (E.g., “What is this?” – show a
picture of a broom, glass, plate)

B. Review  Ask: “What does it mean to be polite?”


 “How do we show respect at home?”

C. Motivation  Show a picture of a child asking for help from a parent.


 Ask: “What do you think the child is saying?”
 “Is this a polite way to ask?

D. Presentation Show more pictures of household objects. Ask:


 “What is this?”
 “How would you ask for it politely at home?”

E. Discussion/ Analysis/ Teach polite ways to ask for help using flashcards:
Fixing Skills
 “May I please borrow the spoon?”
 “Can you please hand me the glass?”

Let the children repeat the polite phrases


F. Generalization Ask:

 “Why is it important to be polite when asking for help?”


 “How do you ask for something politely at home?”

G. Application Activity:

 Connect the picture to the polite expressions.
