Reflection on the Interview with a Nurse Entrepreneur
Interviewing a former nurse who is currently an entrepreneur and owns The Citrus Coffee for
Peace Café was an enlightening experience. Prior to this interview, I believed that entrepreneurship
primarily revolved around generating profit and overseeing finances. Yet, after listening to the
entrepreneur’s story, I understood that it also involves passion, purpose, and making a meaningful
difference in the community.
One of the most important things I learned from the interview was the importance of having a
clear purpose when starting a business. The owner of The Citrus Coffee for Peace Café did not just
want to sell coffee, they also wanted to support local farmers, promote sustainable practices, and
create a peaceful space for people. This made me realize that successful businesses are often built
on strong values and a commitment to helping others. It also changed my perception of
entrepreneurship. I now understand that it is not just about earning money but also about making a
meaningful contribution to society.
Another key lesson was about adaptability and continuous learning. The entrepreneur shared
how difficult it was to shift from being a nurse to managing a café. They had to learn about business
