I suggest that we recommend students install the current LTS release from

which is Java 21;

Click on download Latest LTS release


Note if not downloaded then click here otherwise check the downloads

Click OpenJDK21u
Press next
Put check box √

Press next
Press next

If issues arise then do this If a red X are shown change then as below
Press next
Click on install and wait until Finish screen
Click on Finish screen

Go to C: Drive _> Program File

or Go to system location for MAC users


Now Java 21 is installed in your system
Now go to Command prompt or Terminal in Mac

write the below command on command prompt
