Problem

Visually impaired individuals and elderly people face significant challenges in:

 Identifying currency accurately during transactions.


 Avoiding counterfeit notes.
 Seeking immediate help in emergencies.
 Monitoring health in daily life.

Existing solutions are often either too expensive, too limited, or not portable, leaving a large population
without reliable financial, safety, and health tools.

Solution

Sparsha Note is a multi-tier accessibility and safety kit that combines currency identification, personal
safety, and health monitoring in wallet-sized or wearable formats.
It is designed for all income groups through three versions:

1. Drishti (Mechanical Kit)

 Purpose: Affordable option for economically weaker sections.


 Features:
o Tactile grooves, patterns, and size alignment for identifying currency notes.
o Optional iRupee Stamper for tactile currency denomination marking (extra cost).
 Advantages:
o Purely mechanical – no electricity required.
o Extremely durable and weather-resistant.
o Wallet/pocket-sized for everyday carry.
 Target Audience: Rural and low-income users.

2. iRupee (Electronic Standard Version)

 Purpose: Combines smart technology with affordability for middle-income users.


 Features:
o Currency Recognition: Scans and announces denomination via speaker, wired earphones, or
wireless earbuds.
o Mechanical Backup: Integrated Drishti for battery-free use.
o Emergency Button: Press and hold for 5+ seconds to send GPS location and alerts to
family/police.
o GPS Tracking: Locate device or user in emergencies.
o Counterfeit Detection: Instant alert for fake notes.
o Offline Mode: Logs transactions without internet, syncs later.
o Sharing & Integration: Export expense logs to Excel, WhatsApp or Google Drive
o Integrated Sparsha Note App for mobile devices:
