Banglalink 4G

Banglalink has been focusing on network up-gradation for quite some time in order to ensure seamless
connectivity and an enhanced experience thereby. With that intent, company has invested over BDT 3000 crore,
which is one of the biggest investments made by any telecom operator in the country and successfully acquired
additional 5 MHz spectrum in 2100 MHz Band and 5.6 MHz spectrum in 1800 MHz Band in the spectrum
auction held at Dhaka club on the 13th of February 2018. The newly allocated spectrum is going to result in a
significant improvement in all the services of Banglalink. In addition, it has fulfilled the spectrum requirement for
4G. On the 19th of February, Banglalink has been awarded with the 4G license by BTRC and made 4G live
within seconds. Besides, Banglalink has also applied for tech neutrality which will allow it to provide 2G, 3G or
4G services in any band.
