not extreme.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit London is in spring (April to June) and early
autumn (September). The weather is pleasant, and there are many
outdoor activities.
Places to Visit
London has many famous places.
The Tower of London: a historic castle where you can see the
Crown Jewels.
Buckingham Palace: the home of the King, where you can
watch the Changing of the Guard.
The London Eye: a big wheel that gives you beautiful views of
the city.
The British Museum: one of the best museums in the world,
with history and art from many countries.
Food
London is international, so you can try food from all around the world.
Traditional English food includes fish and chips, English breakfast,
and Sunday roast. Afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes is also
a popular tradition.
Festivals and Traditions
London celebrates New Year’s Eve with fireworks on the River
Thames. The Notting Hill Carnival in August is very famous for
music, costumes, and dancing. Another tradition is the Trooping the
Colour in June, a big parade for the King’s birthday.
Local People
Londoners are very diverse because people from many countries live
in the city. They are usually polite and respectful, but sometimes they
seem busy because life in London is very fast.
