Part 1: "My Future Career Plan"
Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions in life because it guides the path we
take for our future. For me, I want to pursue a career in software development. I am interested
in this field because I enjoy creating programs and applications that can solve problems and
make daily life easier for people. Aside from software development, I am also interested in
cybersecurity and data analytics, but my main focus is to become a skilled and successful
software developer.
To reach this goal, I know I need to gain the right skills and education. As a Computer Science
student, I am already learning programming languages like Java and C#, and I plan to study
more in the coming years. I need to improve not only my technical skills but also my
communication and teamwork skills because working with others is important in the technology
industry. I also want to strengthen my problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and creativity,
since these are qualities that make a good software developer.
Of course there will be challenges along the way. One challenge is keeping up with the fast
changes in technology. New tools and programming languages appear quickly, and I will need to
keep learning even after I graduate. Another challenge is competition, because many people
also want to be software developers. I might also face self-doubt or difficulties when I cannot
solve problems right away. However, I believe that with patience, dedication, and continuous
practice, I can overcome these challenges.
My five-year plan is quite simple. First, I will focus on finishing my degree in Computer Science
and making the most of my learning opportunities. During this time, I also plan to join projects,
internships, or trainings that will give me real-world experience in software development.
Second, I will continue to practice programming on my own and learn new skills through online
courses and workshops. Third, after graduation, I aim to find a job as a junior software
developer where I can apply my knowledge and learn from experienced mentors. Within five
years, I see myself working in the technology industry, improving my expertise, and contributing
to meaningful projects.
My current goal is to become a software developer because it allows me to use both creativity
and logic to create solutions for people. It will take hard work, continuous learning, and
determination, but I am ready to face the challenges. By staying focused on my goals, I believe I
can build a successful career and make a positive impact in the field of technology.
Part 2: Life Skills Reflection Journal
Day 1
Today I thought about how I manage my time. I usually set priorities, like finishing schoolwork
first, but I sometimes procrastinate and rush tasks at the last minute. For me, being
independent means handling responsibilities on my own, but I also feel afraid to ask for help
because I don’t want to bother others. At home, I help with chores, while in school I focus on
studying. In the community, I try to be respectful and follow rules. When I face stress or failure, I
take a break and remind myself that I can try again.
Day 2
Time management for me means avoiding procrastination, but I admit I get distracted by my
phone and lose focus. Independence means making my own decisions, but sometimes I push
myself too much and forget that seeking help is also important. At home, I assist with cleaning,
while at school I complete assignments as best as I can. In the community, I show respect and
cooperation. When I feel stressed, I sometimes handle it poorly by doomscrolling online, which
only adds to my stress.
Day 3
I try to manage my time by creating a checklist of tasks, but there are days when I still waste
time and end up rushing. Being independent means trying to solve problems on my own, but
sometimes I hesitate to ask classmates or teachers when I am stuck. At home, I keep things
organized, while in school I listen to teachers and do my best in group activities. In the
community, I show discipline by following rules. Stress sometimes makes me tired, and I cope by
resting or listening to music.
Day 4
Managing time for me is about balance, but I struggle with balancing my schoolwork and home
responsibilities. Independence means having confidence to take care of myself, but I am also
learning that teamwork and support from others are important. At home, I help with chores,
and in school I aim to do well in projects. In the community, I try to be respectful. When I fail at
something, I reflect on what went wrong and motivate myself to do better.
Day 5
I try to manage time effectively by focusing on one task at a time, but I admit I still procrastinate
when I feel tired. Independence means standing on my own, but I realize it’s okay to ask for help
when needed. At home, I share chores, while in school I complete my student responsibilities. In
the community, I act politely and follow rules. Stress sometimes affects me, and while I usually
take breaks to recover, there are times I spend too long doomscrolling, which I am trying to
change.
Part 3: “Who Am I?” Self-Discovery Essay
Discovering who I am has been a journey of learning about my strengths, weaknesses, values,
and dreams. I have many strengths that help me in both school and life. I am adaptable, detail-
oriented, and good at problem-solving, which allows me to adjust when things get difficult. I
also value time management and dedication, making sure I do my best in any task. However, I
also recognize my weaknesses. I can be a perfectionist, which makes me spend too much time
trying to make everything flawless. I also struggle with public speaking and sometimes find it
hard to ask for help because I want to look independent.
My values and beliefs shape how I live and interact with people. I respect honesty,
responsibility, and fairness. I believe in trusting facts and research, especially in areas like health
and medicine, rather than following pseudoscience or random advice from so-called “experts”
with no credentials. I also believe that respect should be earned and not simply given because
of age or authority. I do not think that being older always means being right or better. I strongly
believe that first impressions matter a lot, as they often define how people view you.
One of my role models is Taylor Swift. I admire her because she works hard, remains dedicated
to her craft, and uses her influence in a positive way. She inspires me to stay committed to my
goals, no matter the challenges, and to always value authenticity.
My dreams and aspirations are focused on building a meaningful career. My first priority is to
become a skilled software developer, where I can apply my creativity and technical knowledge.
In the future, I also want to explore cybersecurity and data analytics. Beyond my career, I aspire
to be someone who continues to grow, help others, and prove that hard work and dedication
can lead to success.
I have learned important lessons about balance and teamwork. During our thesis defense, I
almost failed my group because I was not thinking clearly after staying up all night. I pressured
myself to handle too much on my own because I wanted to avoid burdening my groupmates. I
later realized that this was a mistake. We were a group, and we were supposed to work
together. That experience taught me that trying to do everything myself does not make me
strong or independent, but it only makes me weaker. True strength is knowing when to trust
others and share responsibilities.
I am still learning who I am, but I know I am someone with strengths, flaws, and values that
guide me. My role models inspire me, my experiences shape me, and my dreams push me
forward. I am determined to grow into the best version of myself, not just for me, but also for
the people around me.
Part 4: "Letter to My Future Self"
Dear Future Me,
I hope that by the time you read this, you are happy, healthy, and proud of how far you’ve
come. Right now, I am still a student, trying my best to balance school, responsibilities, and
personal growth. I sometimes feel lost, stressed, and unsure of what the future holds, but I also
know that these struggles are part of the journey that will make you stronger.
My dream is for you to become a skilled software developer, with the confidence and
knowledge to build meaningful projects. I also hope you are exploring cybersecurity and data
analytics, since these are fields you once dreamed about. I want you to remember the passion
that started it all and the sacrifices you made during college. I hope you never lose your
curiosity to learn and your determination to improve.
I want to remind you that it is okay to ask for help and lean on others when needed. You don’t
always have to carry the weight of everything alone. Independence is good, but teamwork and
trust are just as important. Do not forget the lesson you learned back in your thesis days: you
don’t have to prove yourself by doing everything by yourself.
Five or ten years from now, I hope you have reached some of your goals, but I also hope you
remain humble and grateful. Continue working hard, but don’t forget to take care of your
health, spend time with the people who matter, and enjoy the small moments.
Stay true to your values, keep respecting those who truly deserve it, and never stop chasing
excellence. If you face failures, remember they are just stepping stones toward growth. Be
proud of the person you are becoming, because everything you are going through now is
shaping you into that person.
With love and hope,
Lovely<3
Oath
I, Lovely Princess Bobiles, make this oath to my future self. I promise to stay true to my
values, to work hard toward my dreams, and to never give up even when life becomes
difficult. I will continue to learn, grow, and improve myself, while also remembering to
ask for help when I need it. I promise to balance independence with teamwork, and to
always respect others who truly deserve it. Most of all, I will remain dedicated, resilient,
and grateful for every step of my journey.
This is my oath, and I seal it today with hope and determination for the future.
