1.

Do you think that climate change is a serious issue, or has it been

exaggerated? Justify your opinion.

-I think that climate change is a serious issue. I don’t think it has been exaggerated.
-We cannot deny that in the last 20 years the weather has drastically changed.
- Every year there are more natural disasters than in the previous years.
-There were volcanic eruptions in Hawaii, and Italy and there are eruptions now
in Iceland!
-There were many forest fires in Europe, Asia and America last summer. There was
even a forest fire in Poland last summer!
-There are stronger hurricanes than ever before, earthquakes as well.
-Summer last year in almost every part of the world achieved record-high
temperatures resulting in lakes and rivers drying up.
-I believe that if we don’t do something to stop climate change, the weather and
natural disasters will get even worse in the near future.

2. What can we personally do to help preserve the environment?

-I think that I, personally can continue segregating my rubbish, to help eliminate

plastic in our seas.
-I can do my best to save water by taking shorter showers and not wasting water.
-I can try my best to minimalize my carbon footprint by using public
transportation and not driving by car.
-I can use second-hand shops to buy clothes when I need something, making new
clothes wastes too much water and there are so many nice used clothing that is
available in these second-hand shops.
