Environmental Pollution in Today's Society
Environmental pollution is the change in physical, chemical and biological properties of
environmental components that does not comply with environmental technical regulations and
environmental standards. In today's modern society, environmental pollution has become one of the
most serious issues, posing a direct threat to the survival of the Earth and the quality of life for
humans. It’s not only seriously affects human health but also deeply harms natural ecosystems.
One major cause of environmental pollution is the rapid development of industries and
transportation. Factories and power plants release harmful pollutants into the air and water,
meanwhile vehicles powered by fossil fuels contribute to air pollution. Additionally, human actions
like wasting resources and improper waste disposal worsen pollution, harming wildlife and
ecosystems. Without a change in habits and better environmental care, pollution will continue to
damage the planet and future generations.
Environmental pollution can be prevented in many ways. To do so, we must act together. People
should be more conscious about waste disposal, recycling and reducing single-use plastics.
Governments should introduce stricter environmental laws and encourage green energy solutions.
Industries should focus on using cleaner technologies and reducing harmful emissions. In particular,
raising public awareness about sustainable practices can help everyone contribute to environmental
protection: "One tree cannot make a forest, but three trees together can form a high mountain."
In conclusion, environmental pollution is a critical challenge that needs immediate action. By making
conscious efforts to reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote sustainable practices, we can
protect the environment and ensure a better, cleaner future for generations to come.
