JESUS OUR HEALER (SCRIPTURES)

Exodus 15:23-26 NKJV

“Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were
bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses,
saying, “What shall we drink?” So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree.
When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an
ordinance for them, and there He tested them, and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the
Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all
His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For
I am the Lord who heals you.””

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The
chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

Acts 10:34-38 NKJV

“In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him
and works righteousness is accepted by Him. The word which God sent to the children of Israel,
preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— that word you know, which was
proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John
preached: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went
about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

AFFLICTIONS CAUSED BY EVIL SCHEMES/DEMON POSSESSION

Matthew 8:16-17 NKJV
“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He
cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which
was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our
sicknesses.””

Luke 8:26-36 NKJV

“Then they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee. And when He
stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long
time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus,
he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You,
Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!” For He had commanded the
unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard,
bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the
wilderness. Jesus asked him, saying, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” because
many demons had entered him. And they begged Him that He would not command them to go
out into the abyss. Now a herd of many swine was feeding there on the mountain. So they
begged Him that He would permit them to enter them. And He permitted them. Then the
demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep

place into the lake and drowned. When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled
and told it in the city and in the country. Then they went out to see what had happened, and
came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of
Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. They also who had seen it told them
by what means he who had been demon-possessed was healed.”

Matthew 15:22-28 NKJV

“Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And behold,
a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me,
O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” But He answered her not a
word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after
us.” But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” But He answered and said, “It is
not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord,
yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus
answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And
her daughter was healed from that very hour.”

AFFLICTIONS OF THE BLOOD

Matthew 9:20-22 NKJV

“And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and
touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I
shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer,
daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.”

AFFLICTIONS OF THE MIND

Matthew 17:14-18 NKJV

“And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and
saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often
falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could
not cure him.” Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long
shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked
the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.”

AFFLICTIONS OF THE MOVEMENT AND BALANCE

Matthew 8:5-13 NKJV

“Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,
saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said
to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy
that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and
he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

-2-
When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I
have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! And I say to you that many will come from
east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the
sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing
of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it
be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.”

Matthew 9:2-7 NKJV

“Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith,
He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” And at once some
of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!” But Jesus, knowing their
thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins
are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has
power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and
go to your house.” And he arose and departed to his house.”

John 5:1-9 NKJV

“After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in
Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.
In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of
the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then
whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he
had. Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him
lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him,
“Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me
into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before
me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made
well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.”

AFFLICTIONS OF THE SKIN

Matthew 8:1-3 NKJV

“When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold,
a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately
his leprosy was cleansed.”

Luke 17:11-14 NKJV

“Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and
Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who
stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” So
when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that
as they went, they were cleansed.”

AFFLICTIONS OF THE LIMBS (INFIRMITY)

-3-
Acts 3:2-8 NKJV
“And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the
gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;
who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on
him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive
something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I
give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the
right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So
he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and
praising God.”

Luke 13:10-12 NKJV

“Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a
woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way
raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you
are loosed from your infirmity.””

Luke 5:15 NKJV

“However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came
together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.”

AFFLICTIONS OF THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

Luke 4:38-39 NKJV

“Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother
was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her. So He stood over
her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them.”

AFFLICTIONS OF SIGHT

Matthew 9:27-29 NKJV

-4-
“When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son
of David, have mercy on us!” And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to
Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him,
“Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.””

John 9:1-7 NKJV

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked
Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus
answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be
revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming
when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When He
had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed
the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam”
(which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.”

AFFLICTIONS OF SPEECH
Matthew 9:32-33 NKJV
“As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. And
when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was
never seen like this in Israel!””

Mark 7:31-34 NKJV

“Again, departing from the region of Tyre and Sidon, He came through the midst of the
region of Decapolis to the Sea of Galilee. Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had
an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him. And He took him
aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue.
Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.””

natural vigor diminished.”
