I. OBJECTIVES
A. Daily Objectives:
- Monday: Identify different types of network devices (hub, switch, bridge, router, WAP).
- Tuesday: Differentiate between passive and active networking devices.
- Wednesday: Describe the functions of patch panels, modular boxes, and RJ45 connectors.
- Thursday: Demonstrate the use of testing devices (cable tester, punch down tool, crimping
tool, wire stripper).
- Friday: Apply knowledge by identifying and classifying actual devices and tools in the lab.
B. Content Standards:
The learner demonstrates understanding of various networking tools and devices.
C. Performance Standards:
The learner is able to identify, classify, and demonstrate proper usage of networking tools
and devices.
