Course Objectives:
 To Understand: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles,
technologies, and methodologies used in e-commerce.
 To Explore: Investigate the integration of AI and data science in the e-
commerce domain for enhancing customer experience, decision-making, and
business operations.
 To Develop: Equip students with the ability to design, develop, and
implement e-commerce applications and solutions using modern tools and
techniques.
 To Analyze: Analyze various e-commerce business models, payment
systems, security protocols, and emerging trends.
 To Innovate: Encourage innovative thinking to solve complex problems in e-
commerce by applying advanced AI and ML techniques.
Course Outcomes:
On completion of the course, learner will be able to,

Web technologies and frameworks for e-commerce, Mobile commerce and
responsive web design, Cloud computing and its role in e-commerce, Integration of
third-party services (APIs, payment gateways)
Unit III AI and Machine Learning in E-Commerce (5 Hrs)
Role of AI in e-commerce: Personalization, recommendation systems, and chatbots,
Machine learning algorithms for customer segmentation and demand forecasting,
Predictive analytics and its applications in e-commerce, Case studies of AI-driven e-
