GETTING STARTED
Now that you have downloaded your les, please follow these steps to get your les ready for import:
(Make sure they are saved the “Files” app on your iPad)

1 Go to your “Files” app and locate the .ZIP les (they are usually in the downloads section of CHROME/SAFARI)

2 Press and hold the .ZIP les and then select “Uncompress” - this will unzip all les

3 The les are now ready to import into Goodnotes.

IMPORTING INTO GOODNOTES

Now that you have downloaded the les, you’ll need to import it into the Goodnotes app (purchased
separately through the app store).

Make sure you have downloaded all les, unzipped/uncompressed them and saved them in your
les folder on your iPad, iPhone or Mac.

To Import the les, simply go to your “Files” app.

Press and hold on the selected le. Click “Share” and select The Goodnotes app will open. When prompted, select

“Open in Goodnotes”.

USING THE PLANNER

Now that your planner is imported in GoodNotes, you can use it just like any other planner. Goodnotes
has several functions that make the app really great to use:

READ ONLY MODE

This icon means that you are in ‘Read Only’ mode.

Once in Read Only Mode you’ll be able to click on any of the

links within your planner

EDITING MODE

This icon means that you are in ‘Editing’ mode.

Once in Editing Mode you’ll be able to use any of the editing

tools using the bar at the top

BOOKMARKING

We’d recommend taking advantage of the bookmark option in GoodNotes, to mark your favorite
or most frequented pages for easy access.

DUPLICATING PAGES
DUPLICATING PAGES
You are able to duplicate, copy and paste as many pages as you wish with this digital planner!
Please read this guide carefully in order to add extra pages:

1. Go to any page you want to duplicate. Click on the “+” in

the top right of the Goodnotes screen.

2 2. Select whether you want to “add page before” or “add

3 page after”.

3. Choose and tap the template you want to use.

4. The duplicated page will appear.

1. Go to any page you want to copy and click on the three dots in the top right of the Goodnotes screen.

2. Select “Copy”.

3. Click on the “thumbnails” icon in the top left corner.

4. Click the dropdown arrow. Select whether you want to “add page before” or “add page after”.

5. Your page will now appear before/after the selected page.

DELETING PAGES

1. To delete a duplicated/copied page, simple click on the

thumbnails icon.

2. Select “Move to Trash”.

3. The page is now in the trash bin.

You can add or delete as many of the newly created pages as you wish.
Please DON’T delete any of the pages I created in this planner as that will
destroy all of the links and you’ll need to create a new planner.

USING THE STICKERS

These are instructions for how to download and use digital stickers on the iPad using Goodnotes.
These are already cropped for you and ready to use in Goodnotes!

1 Importing the Goodnotes sticker book

1. To Import the Goodnotes stickerbook, simply go to your les app (this should be where you saved the le in previous steps).

2. Tap the zip le named “[Link]”.

3. Press and Hold the .ZIP le and select “Uncompress”

4. Click “Share” and select “Open in Goodnotes”.

5. Import the Goodnotes sticker le as a new document from the Goodnotes app.

2 Using the Stickers

1. Click on the editing tool in the top right of the screen.

2. Select the “Lasso” tool from the menu bar.

3. Draw a circle on the sticker of your choice.

4. Tap in the circle and select “Copy”.

5. Go back to your planner tab in Goodnotes.

6. Tap and hold on your selected page. Press “Paste”.

7. You can now resize, crop the image to your liking. 5

ADDING/CHANGING COVERS
This planner bundle also includes 24 amazing front cover designs for you to copy, paste and change
whenever you like! Please follow the instructions below in order to add a front cover to your planner.

Make sure the [Link] le is unzipped in the “Files” app before you complete these steps.

1. Once in your digital planner, click on the “Add Page” button.

2. Select “Import”.

3. Select your chosen digital cover from the Covers folder.

4. Import the cover by selecting “Import into Current Document” (Make

sure the planner/journal is on Page 1 before you do this)

5. Once your chosen cover has imported, click on the “Thumbnails” icon to

view all pages.

6. Click on the downward arrow under the original front cover.

7. Select “Move to Trash”.

8. Your front cover has now been replaced.

USING THE PLANNER

This icon will allow you to the Thumbnails, Bookmarks and Notes. Clicking this icon will allow you to view/hide
the panel.

BOOKMARKING CHANGE THE SCROLLING DIRECTION

We’d recommend taking advantage of the bookmark option, to mark To change the scrolling view of your planner, click on the three
your favourite or most frequented pages for easy access. dots in the top right corner and change the view.

VIEWING ANNOTATED PAGES

To view all annotated/noted pages, click on the notes icon (highlighted)

Click on the bookmark icon to save the page you’re on. Your
saved pages will appear on the Bookmark tab.

DUPLICATING PAGES
DUPLICATING PAGES
You are able to duplicate, copy and paste as many pages as you wish with this digital planner!
Please read this guide carefully in order to add extra pages:

[Link] to the page you’d like to copy.

2. Click the 3 dots next to the page and select “Copy”.

3. Go to the page you want to paste the copied page after.

4. Click on the 3 dots and select “Paste”.

5. You’ll now see your copied page under the original page. Feel free to drag this page anywhere throughout the planner.

DELETING PAGES

1. To delete a duplicated/copied page, simple click on the

3 dots on the selected page.

2. Select “Clear Page” to remove all notes/images etc.

2 3. Select “Delete” to delete the entire page from the planner.

You can add or delete as many of the newly created pages as you wish.
Please DON’T delete any of the pages I created in this planner as that will

1. To Import the individual png stickers, simply go to your les app (this should be where you saved the le in previous steps).

2. Tap the zip le named “[Link]”.

3. Press and Hold the .ZIP le and select “Uncompress”

4. Bring up the dock from the bottom of the screen

5. Press and hold on Notability, then drag the app to the left side of the screen to “Split screens”

6. Press and Hold the sticker you want, then drag it over to the planner in Notability.

7. Resize the sticker as you wish

1 Adding a new Cover

1. In your Files app, select the cover you want

2. Press and Hold, then select “Open with Notability”

3. Import the Cover as a “New note”

4. Go to Notability and copy the new cover (follow steps in the previous page)

5. Go back to your Planner and click on the 3 dots next to Page 1

6. Select “Paste”

7. The cover will paste behind the original cover.

8. Click the 3 dots on the original cover page, select “Delete”

9. The original cover has now be replaced.

2 Adding a text overlay to the Cover

1. Go back to the “Files” app and select the text overlay you want

2. Bring up the dock from the bottom of the screen

3. Press and hold on Notability, then drag the app to the left side of the screen to “Split screens”

4. Press and Hold the overlay sticker you want, then drag it over to the planner in Notability.

5. Resize the overlay sticker as you wish
