Types of goals:

Use the SMART method: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant,
Time-bound
2. Identifying Your Target Audience
Why it matters: A clear audience helps you build a community people
actually want to join.
How:
Build a persona (e.g., “Sandra the Student”)
Understand their goals, pain points, and online behavior
Ask: What do they care about? Where do they hang out?
3. Choosing the Right Platform
Why it matters: The wrong platform = poor engagement.
Options:
Telegram/WhatsApp – Small, real-time chats
Discord – Great for tech & Web3 communities
Slack – Professional settings
Facebook Groups – Casual, public interest groups
Circle/Mighty Networks – Branded, structured communities
