Many people think that students work part - time is waste of time, is useless for them, but I don’t agree with
this thoughts. Personally, Working part-time is essential for students because it provides many social skills
such as : managing emotions and behaviors, adapting situations, The first social skills can be improved
when working part-time is managing emotions and behaviors. It is one of the most useful social skills when
students become the main workforce for society. Using fluently this skills helps students can adjust
behaviors to show the best performance to other people and understand the other ’s emotions, situations to
get attention and good impression from others. The second skills is adapting situations, giving students
ability to adapt with the new and difficult challenges. If students have situations adapting skill, they can
calm down, see and understand situations and make a decision to solve this problem. Many people argue
that students work part time because it can make students neglect their studies. But I dont’ think so. Beside
study, working part time can give more experiences to improved social skills which is very essential when
they graduated from university. If students can balance between study and working part time, they can
enhance both knowledge from school and social skills, social relationships. This is the advantages of
students to pay attention to employers. Working part time has both advantages and disadvantages but if
students can balance well, it can give them a lot of benefits.

In conclusion, working part-time is not a waste of time. On the contrary, it helps students become more

Anyone also has some memorable moments in their lives, with me, This is the moment when I have met Vy,
who has change my life, a person inspired me about learning foreign language. I have met her for one year,
the first day in university, in my English class. In the first sight, I was attracted by her special appearance
and personalities. She follows “tomboy’ style with a short and fashionable hair and a simply clothes with a T
- shirt and a western style pant. The small face without makeup but it is also attract people because of her
beautiful face. About personality, she is friendly, caring and enthusiastic person , always help everyone if
she can. When I was still shy and scared with the new environment, I tried to make friend and talk with
others. She proactively talked with me and then, we realized we had many similarities about hobby,
flavour,... Thank to her, I started become more active and brave to communicate with strange. Moreover, she
also helped me a lot of, about my methods of learning English. She commented and gave me some advices
to improve my English skills such as: actively talking with others in english, listening postcard,
recommending some exciting English films,........ Until now, I still remember clearly about the time when I
met her, a special person in my life.

Everyone has some memorable moments in life, and for me, one of the most unforgettable ones was meeting
Vy, a person who changed my perspective and inspired me to learn foreign languages. I met her one year
ago, on the first day of university, in our English class.
At first sight, I was impressed by her unique appearance and strong personality. She had a “tomboy” style,

Both studying individually and studying in group have advantages and disadvantages, but we
must choose the most suitable method for themselves. And I believe that Studying in group
is the best choice for me for these reasons. Firstly, studying with others is suitable for
someone who is extrovert like communicating with other people. This method helps you
expand many relationships with some people who have more experiences than you. And
from them, you can learn more about experiences and knowledge which will benefits when
you will have graduated from the university. Secondly, when you study with your friends,
you may understand more than studying in the class. Your peers may give you an
explanation, which is easier for you to understand. And they also help you recognize your
mistakes, then repair it and avoid making the mistake again. Morever, after studying hard,
your friend plays a vital role in helping you relax and be out of stress. They will always
advocate, support and overcome challenges together. In contrast, Studying individually is a
suitable for introverted people and someone who likes quietness and cannot concentrate on
the noisy environment. Two methods are good and useful , you just need choose the suitable
method for yourself and you will get better consequences.

In conclusion, both individual and group study methods are effective depending on the learner’s personality
and preferences. However, I personally find group study more beneficial, as it not only enhances academic

6. Write about a trip that included something unexpected or surprising.
A trip is always a memorable moment, but if it has an unexpected event, it will become more
special and unforgettable. With me, the journey making me feel funny and embarrassed is
going to “ Thảo Cầm Viên”, a zoo in HCM city. Before the journey, I believed that it was a
wonderful experience with my friends, it was not until I arrived the zoo that I realized that
my shoes had had a problems, a shoe soles had dropped. Because of this problem, I couldn’t
move usually and I must had walked oddly, my foot elevated higher than normal not to
stumble over the cement road. In this moment, I was very embarrassed and didn’t know how
to solve this problem because of not bringing glue and being so far away from the repaired
shoe’s shop. And of course, I couldn’t cancel the trip with my friend and comeback home
lonely. And Finally, I decided to move unusually and enjoy all the journey, It was so lucky
that no one noticed my embarrassed situation. it is not also one of the most funny memories
in my life with friend but only it is a unforgettable event with me.
A trip is always a chance to create great memories, but it becomes even more special when something
unexpected happens. One of the most memorable and embarrassing experiences I’ve had was during a visit
to Thảo Cầm Viên, a zoo located in Ho Chi Minh City.
Before the trip, I was excited to spend time with my friends and expected everything to go smoothly.
However, as soon as we arrived at the zoo, I noticed that one of my shoes had suddenly fallen apart — the
sole completely detached from the bottom. This small incident turned into a big problem, as it made it
difficult for me to walk properly. I had to lift my foot awkwardly to avoid tripping over the uneven ground,
which made me look quite strange.
At that moment, I felt extremely embarrassed and didn’t know what to do. I hadn’t brought any glue or tape,
and the nearest shoe repair shop was far away. Going home alone wasn’t an option, so I decided to continue
walking with my broken shoe and tried my best to act normal. Luckily, no one around seemed to notice my
odd walking style.
Looking back, although it was a bit awkward at the time, it became one of the funniest memories I have with
my friends. It taught me to always double-check my belongings before a trip — and maybe bring an extra
pair of shoes next time!

online platforms allow learners to study from virtually (almost/ nearly/ close to) any location
and at any time. This is particularly transformative for individuals in remote or
underdeveloped regions, where quality educational institutions may be scarce.

Many people believe that the best way to get a good job is to complete a
university degree, while others think experience is more important. Discuss

Many people argue that a university degree is the key to getting a good career. In contrast,
others believe that experience is more valuable. Personally, I contend that both academic
degree and experiences are extremely important.
On the one hand, having a university degree can open the door to more career opportunities,
especially in some professions such as: medicine, law, engineering, where formal
qualifications are very essential. Moreover, higher education also provides theoretical
knowledge and critical thinking skills that are difficult to gain without academic study.
On the other hand, practical experiences can be more important in certain industries such as
tourism, hotel and restaurant, travel, entertaiment industry and some creative jobs,…
Experience helps people develop problem-solving ability, adapt to the real work

modern society. In spite of its limitations, I contend that its advantages can far outweigh
disadvantages.
The biggest benefit of social media is connecting people from all over the world, building an
interconnected world, without any barrier. Thanks to these platforms, people from other
regions can communicate together without economic and geographical difficulties. People
can learn about cutures and lifestyles ,…which enhance solidarity and international
cooperation.
Furthermore, Social media is also a perfect tool to learning. With the development of
technology, People can attend online classes offered by many prestigious institutions without
spending a lot of money and time travelling. Learners can study lectures, read e-book, share
