Introduction

Communication technology is developing at such a fast pace that

Learning to master the updates of any software or application will leave us

once again back because it will inevitably open new technologies for learning.

A social network is a social structure formed by a set of actors (such as

individuals or organizations), associated with relationships known as relationships

interpersonal, which can be understood as a friendship relationship and

kinship among other people. For example, the development of mobile technology has

played an important role in shaping the impact of networks

social

Mobile devices dominate the world in terms of total minutes on

line. This makes it possible for anyone to stay connected at any

moment, anywhere and with any device. Social networks are

perhaps one of the most influential and popular applications among users of

Internet. The creation of Internet applications in a social network environment has

created a large-scale cultural phenomenon with a large number of users. The

social networks are also often referred to as online platforms. The social web is

designed to support communication and other social issues on the site.

The Impact of Social Networks

The rise of social media means that it is unusual to find an organization

that I didn't reach their clients through one application or another of social networks. Each

Day by day, more and more teenagers are browsing the internet, where the user is registered.

on various social networks. Without social networks, social and ethical problems

environmental issues would have minimal visibility. The increasing emergence of problems

it shifted the balance of power from the hands of a few to the hands of the masses. While the

activity of these social media increases awareness about the issues

Socially, the question remains whether this awareness translates into real change.

It's the interesting thing about social networks, the generation of alternative discourses that

they are made known in them, where adults and young people can to some extent create

"awareness of issues in our society" (Watson) (2019).1

Social networks are used to spread all kinds of information among the

people, such as politics, business, commerce, love, sports, education,

entertainment, etc. The list may be too long. Its purpose is to facilitate the

communication and other social issues. Communication through social networks

social issues have proven to be a very interesting topic today, as it

it is in considerable development and has created processes and changes in activities

that people do daily, thanks to social platforms the ways of

communication has changed radically.

Conclusions

The use of social networks today is very essential because they provide many

ways to help us in our daily lives, such as: they can help us share

information, arouse interest in other topics like education or simply a

distraction in daily life can help generate income from different sources

social platforms. The way people interact has changed

quickly in recent years, nowadays no one visits without warning through a message

text, chat, email or leave a message on the user's network that is

subscribed.

While the world would be a much slower place without social networks, it made the

the greatest possible damage. However, the positive impact of social media is

extraordinary and goes beyond the evils associated with sharing. Finally,

sharing allows people to view and respond to the content. While the

content remains relevant and information remains necessary, it is always

beneficial for any organization that uses social networks to follow

publishing.

The widespread use of social networks affects social change movements by providing a platform for raising awareness and organizing activities around social issues. These networks facilitate the fast sharing and dissemination of information, which can mobilize participants and supporters globally. Although they increase awareness, the challenge remains whether this translates into real societal change. Social networks can amplify the reach and speed of information dissemination, but their impact on tangible social change depends on factors such as the nature of the movement and engagement of active participants .

Social networks as a cultural phenomenon imply significant changes in how societies communicate, engage, and share information. With a large user base, they foster a sense of global interconnectedness and community, while also influencing cultural trends and societal norms. The implications include the creation of new cultural artifacts, such as memes, and shifts in communication styles towards more abbreviated and multimedia-based interactions. However, they can also lead to homogenization of cultures and issues related to data privacy and misinformation .

The proliferation of social networks and reduced face-to-face interactions can lead to potential downsides such as the erosion of social skills, difficulties in developing deep interpersonal relationships, and increased feelings of isolation or loneliness. Virtual interactions may lack the depth and richness of in-person communication, potentially affecting emotional connections and leading to misunderstandings. These changes can have broader impacts on mental health and community cohesion if not balanced with offline interactions .

Social networks have shifted the balance of power by enabling widespread dissemination of information, which allows the masses to become more informed and engaged with social issues. This democratization of information means that power is no longer concentrated in the hands of a few individuals or organizations. Instead, these platforms allow for diverse voices and opinions to be shared and amplified, potentially challenging established power structures .

The ability to directly respond to online content enhances user engagement on social networks by fostering interactive dialogues and allowing users to participate actively in discussions. This interaction can lead to increased time spent on platforms as users engage with content and contribute their views. It encourages a sense of community and belonging by allowing users to express opinions, share feedback, and influence conversations, which can in turn drive greater commitment and loyalty to the platform .

The statement is valid as social networks provide platforms for generating alternative discourses by allowing different perspectives to be shared and discussed widely. These platforms enable the propagation of diverse viewpoints that might not find space in traditional media, thereby influencing social awareness. They empower individuals to challenge dominant narratives and contribute to a more nuanced understanding of social issues. However, the extent to which these discourses influence real change depends on factors such as audience engagement and the quality of the discussions generated .

Social networks offer potential economic benefits to individuals through opportunities such as marketing, entrepreneurship, and income generation. They enable influencers and content creators to monetize their audience through advertising and sponsored content. Freelancers and small business owners can reach wider audiences with minimal cost, enhancing marketing efficiency and expanding their customer base. Additionally, social networks facilitate networking and professional development opportunities that can lead to career advancement and new business ventures .

Social networks have a dual impact on communication and social interactions by simultaneously facilitating connection and altering traditional forms of interaction. On one hand, they enhance communication by providing fast, convenient methods of sharing information and staying connected with peers. On the other hand, they can reduce the need for face-to-face interactions, as people increasingly rely on digital means for communication. This shift can lead to both positive outcomes, such as increased access to information, and negative consequences, like reduced personal interactions and social skills in some contexts .

Mobile technology plays a critical role in the rise of social networks as it allows users to stay connected anywhere and at any time. It has led to an increase in online activity by providing the means for continuous access to social networks, allowing users to engage with various forms of content and communication across different platforms. This accessibility has significantly influenced how people spend their time online, making it easier for users to participate in discussions and create user-generated content .

Social networks contribute to the visibility of social and ethical environmental issues by acting as a conduit for information sharing and advocacy. They allow individuals and organizations to disseminate information rapidly and reach a global audience. This widespread exposure can highlight important issues, mobilize action, and affect public opinion. As a result, social networks serve as catalysts for increased engagement and awareness of environmental challenges .
