Nag-aral sya ng Civil Technology sa college at may 4 years na experience sa business.
Sumasali sya sa mga DTI seminars at trainings para magkaroon ng tamang knowledge
kung paano patakbuhin nang maayos ang negosyo.
2. How would you rate the following hard and soft skills, from the most important to the
least important skills for Operations Manager to become efficient and effective in his/her
job? What is the main reason for the choice of the top skill?

3. In the daily operations of the business what kind of problem do you usually deal with
that takes most of your time to handle or solve? What strategy do you use to prevent
occurrence or minimize occurrence of the problem?
Ang main problem nila ay electricity at signal issues. May Wi-Fi sila pero para lang ito sa
CCTV. Kapag nagkakaroon ng brownout, gumagamit sila ng large amount ng power banks
para magpatuloy ang operations pero hindi nila tinaasan ang presyo ng products. Sa
savings nila kinukuha ang dagdag na gastos para maiwasan ang pagkalugi ng business
nila.
4. What quality management program are implemented in the following areas:
Food production and processes: Dapat sundin kung ano ang nakalagay sa recipe at rules
na nasa documents.
Customer service: Kailangan maging mabusisi para hindi madisappoint ang customers at
para bumalik sila.
Employee performance: Nakabase sa reports at output ang evaluation ng performance
ng employee.
Employee training & development: Kasama na sa franchise ang training ng employee
bago magsimula sa trabaho. Mga nagpo-provide ng training: TESDA at MSKONEK
5. As an operations Manager, what strategy do you use to ensure all aspects of operations
are monitored, controlled and managed?
Mas nag-focus sya sa business kasama ang misis nya. Nagpproovide din sila sa mga
events tulad ng kasal at bday. Maraming beses sya nag failed sa past businesses dahil
hindi pa sya mentally ready, dahil din sa risk management at financial management.
Ngayon, natuto sya dahil sa mga mentors at sa mga taong may tamang knowledge para
makapagbigay ng tamang guidance kung paano solusyonan at ihandle ang mga
problema sa business.

6. Do you think the profitability and efficiency of operations lie solely in the responsibility
of an operations manager? Please expound on your answer.
Hindi lang daw sa kanya nakadepende ang success. Kailangan ng teamwork at advice
mula sa ibang tao, lalo na yung may expertise sa pera gaya ng accountants.
Ang strategy nila para impromote ang business nila ay: social media, flyers and free taste

7. How do you ensure customers are happy and encourage them to come back?
Nagbu-build sila ng good relationship sa customers. Pero syempre, babalik lang sila kung
pasok sa budget nila kasi karamihan sa kanila ay students.
Meron silang: customer loyalty card, Buy two products at a lower price, at may mga
games at challenges sa social media para sa followers nila.
8. How do you motivate and support your employees, especially during busy or stressful
times?
Depende sa pag-handle ng team. Kapag sobrang dami ng customers, tinutulungan nya
mismo ang employee nya. Tinuturing na nilang family ang empleyado nila.
9. What technology or systems do you use to make your work easier and improve business
operations?
Currently, manual ang gamit nila, pero willing silang gumamit ng technology once mag-
expand ang business nila
10. What advice would you give to students who want to work in the hospitality industry or
become operations managers someday?
Mental strength – dapat buo ang loob at talagang gusto ang ginagawa.
Right mentors and teachers – piliin ang tamang tao na gagabay. Aim to be an achiever,
not a follower.
Puhunan – kailangan ready financially dahil malaking investment ang pagnenegosyo.
