spherical mirror is used in both the diagrams. A spherical mirror is a piece of hollow sphere. It is
of two types: Concave mirror and convex mirror. The focal length of a concave mirror is
negative, whereas the focal length of a convex mirror is positive.

circuit another set of three bulbs of the same wattage
are connected in parallel to the same source.
i) Will the bulb in the two circuits glow with the same
brightness? Justify your answer mathematically.
ii) Now let one bulb in both the circuits get fused. Will
the rest of the bulbs continue to glow in each circuit?
