SKIT

Narrator:
“Subah-subah classroom ka mahaul… teacher full energy ke saath aati hain, aur students… woh
toh abhi bhi half-sleeping mode mein hote hain. Aayiye dekhte hain roll call ka tamasha!”
“Attendance mein naam likhne se kya hota hai,
Dil se padhai ho toh result achha hota hai…
Lekin ma’am, dil toh cricket aur sleep mein atka hota hai!”

Teacher: “Good morning class!”

All Students (mumbling): “Gooood morning ma’am”

Teacher: “Attendance shuru karte hain.”

Student 1 (Lazy): “Present sir!”
Teacher: “Main sir lag rahi hoon kya?!”
Student 1: “Sorry ma’am… but aap ka strictness sir jaisa hai.”

Student 2 (Sleepy, yawning): “Present… in dreams.”

Teacher: “Beta tum class mein ho ya Tata Motors ki car ad mein?”

Narrator:
“Ab aata hai woh moment jiska students ko sabse zyada darr hota hai… aur teachers ko sabse
zyada maza. Ji haan, homework check!”
“Homework ki duniya bhi ajeeb hai,
Kabhi light chali jati hai, kabhi WiFi kat jaata hai…
Aur kabhi toh pen hi rooth jaata hai!”

Teacher: “Homework kisne kiya?”

diya.”
Teacher: “Waah! Tumhara excuse bhi wireless hai.”

Narrator:
“Ab shuru hota hai asli test – padhai ka. Par students ke liye toh lecture ek stand-up comedy
show se kam nahi hota.”
Teacher: “Chalo ab lesson shuru karte hain. Who will answer this question?”
Student 1: excitedly “100, ma’am! Virat Kohli ki century!”
Teacher: “Virat ko chhodo, apna homework complete karo!”

Student 2 (Sleepy): snoring loudly

Teacher: “Utho beta!”
Student 2: “Ma’am, main sapne mein bhi padh raha tha… parallel universe ka homework kar
raha tha.”

Student 3 (Naughty, whispering to friend): “Tu bol, tu bol…”

Teacher (catching him): “Kya chal raha hai?”
Student 3: “Ma’am, main toh bas class monitor ko bol raha tha ki aap bohot acchi lag rahi ho
aaj.”
Teacher: “Aise makhan lagane se extra marks nahi milte!”

Narrator:
“Teacher sochti hain ki students ko board pe bula ke thoda discipline aa jaayega… par reality
kuch aur hoti hai.”

Teacher: “Chalo, ab ek student board pe aake question solve karega. Kaun aayega?”

Student 1 (Naughty): runs to the board, takes chalk, and writes his name in big letters
Teacher: “Beta, yeh Maths ka question tha… apna biodata nahi!”

Teacher: “Theek hai, Student 2… tum karo.”

Student 2 (Over-smart): writes 2 + 2 = 22
Teacher: “Kya bana rahe ho? Yeh Maths hai ya shaadi ka rishta?”

Student 3 (Sleepy): slowly comes, yawns, and writes nothing, just draws a sun and clouds
Teacher: “Yeh kya hai?”
Student 3: “Ma’am, aapne bola tha ‘illustrate the problem’, toh maine picture bana diya.”

Teacher (frustrated): “Bas! Tum sab mujhe pagal kar doge ek din.”
Student 4 (Sincere, finally solves it correctly): “Ma’am, answer yeh hai.”
Teacher (relieved): “Shukr hai, class mein ek toh insaan hai!”

Narrator:
“Group project ka matlab hota hai teamwork… par students ke liye iska matlab hota hai ek banda
kaam kare, aur baaki sirf pose de.”

Teacher: “Kal group project submit karna hai. Kisne kya kiya?”
Student 1: “Ma’am, maine naam likha title page pe.”
Student 2: “Ma’am, maine toh WhatsApp group banaya tha.”
Student 3: “Ma’am, main silent member tha.”
Student 4 (Sincere): “Aur ma’am, maine pura project akela banaya.”
Teacher: facepalm “Yeh group work hai ya solo performance?”
Narrator:
“Yeh hota hai ek normal din teacher ki zindagi mein. Students ke excuses, masti aur shaitani ke
beech… teacher hi sabko sambhalte hain.”

All Students (together):

“Sorry ma’am/sir, hum thoda naughty hain, thoda lazy hain… par aap ke bina hum kuch nahi.
Happy Teacher’s Day!”

Student 3: (With mock seriousness)

“Ma’am, aap humse gussa hoti ho, punish karti ho,
Par dil se pyaar bhi sirf aap hi karti ho…
Waise… ek aur chhutti mil jaaye toh hum sabse zyada pyaar aapko hi karenge!”

Teacher (smiling): “Tum sabhi mere headaches ho… par tumhi meri khushi bhi ho. Thank
you!”

Narrator (final line):

“Yeh tha ek din teacher ki zindagi ka… thoda stress, thodi comedy, aur bohot saara pyaar.”

All students together: (dramatically, in chorus)

“Na tuition, na YouTube, na Google ka sahara,
Teacher ki guidance se hi banta hai hamara gujara.
Happy Teacher’s Day!”

The narrator in the skit provides a meta-commentary that highlights the humor and absurdities of classroom life, helping to underline the themes of student procrastination, humor, and teacher frustrations. This commentary adds depth by articulating what might be missed in student-teacher interactions, essentially guiding the audience to a clearer understanding of the overall dynamics and underlying tensions within the classroom setting .

The use of humor in the classroom, as depicted in the scene, serves to create a more relaxed and engaging environment. It can break the monotony, making students more receptive and less anxious, potentially enhancing learning . However, humor can also distract from the lesson, if overused or misunderstood, and could lead to a lack of seriousness if not balanced properly .

The excuses given by students, such as blaming the light going out or WiFi failing, are often creative yet lacking in responsibility. They highlight a disconnect between student engagement and accountability, suggesting a need for developing critical self-management skills . While these excuses reflect ingenuity, they also indicate a lack of genuine commitment to learning tasks .

Group projects, as portrayed, present challenges such as unequal participation where one student does the bulk of the work while others contribute minimally or superficially, leading to frustration and inequality .
