Final Project Instructions
This final project is designed to enhance your skills in data analysis and interpretation. You will
work with a provided questionnaire, codebook, and dataset.
Materials:
1. Questionnaire
2. Codebook
3. Dataset (in Stata format)
Steps:
1. Questionnaire Review
o Carefully read and understand all questions in the provided questionnaire.
2. Codebook Analysis
o Study the codebook thoroughly.
o Note the variable names highlighted in red, which correspond to the dataset
variables.
3. Data Analysis
o Use the Stata-format dataset and the codebook to answer the questionnaire.
o Apply appropriate data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights.
4. Response Compilation
o Compile your answers and explanations in a Word document.
o Ensure your responses are clear, concise, and well-organized.
o Use proper formatting and citations where necessary.
5. Stata Code Documentation
o Create a well-commented and organized do file containing all Stata code used.
o Ensure each code section corresponds to a specific question or analysis step.
6. Submission
o Submit two files: a. Word document with your answers and explanations b. Do
file containing your Stata code
o Double-check that all required components are included and properly formatted.
Important Notes:
• Pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in your analysis.
• If you encounter difficulties, seek clarification or assistance in a timely manner.
• Adhere to any specific formatting or citation guidelines provided in class.
Evaluation Criteria: Your project will be evaluated based on:
• Accuracy and depth of data analysis
• Clarity and conciseness of explanations
• Proper use and documentation of Stata code
• Overall presentation and organization of your work
