WINTER SOLSTICE RITUAL

We will know that the Winter Solstice is a unique day among all the days of the
year for a very particular characteristic: it is the shortest day followed by the
longest night, a triumph of darkness over light!

But this is a very brief triumph, as the Solstice is also a point of

and the longest days...

The eternal battle between darkness and light (evil and good) that has been
developed over centuries in various traditions has been the origin of the
multiple traditions associated with this time of year. In all of them of the
dark matrix of the night, from the wicked, black, and total darkness, light is born,
that always prevails.

However, we must consider that darkness and light are valuable as

inseparable parts of the same entity, and neither can exist without the other.
We will never appreciate light sufficiently if we have not gone through a long
period of darkness. How do we know that it offers us light if we have not first...
lived in complete darkness?

We are all light and darkness, and if we do not know our dark parts and them
we accept, it will be very difficult for our light to shine at its fullest. Therefore, we must
honor the darkness before attracting the light.

This is a good time to reconcile with our dark side.

naturally, it is a good time to forgive and to forgive ourselves, to let go and
to free ourselves from all our resentments and all kinds of excuses that prevent us

more time than necessary, doing it with the firm conviction that all of this
will be transformed.

I propose we do a very simple ritual today, on the day of the Winter Solstice, but

Around the container, place as many candles as participants in the

Prepare a small container with good quality massage oil where

put a few drops of an essential oil you like and some glitter

mandarin, orange, myrrh, rose, or pine. ONLY use one of them, not
mixtures. It is NECESSARY to use high-quality oils recommended for
aromatherapy treatments since they will be applied to the skin (CANNOT
using oils for lamps, candles, air fresheners, etc.).

If you wish, you can play some sacred music.

As the guests arrive, offer them an herbal infusion. It is

well to introduce those who do not know each other to create an atmosphere of
camaraderie and socialize a bit before the ritual, so that we are
calm both physically and mentally for this.

When deemed necessary, position yourselves around the place that has been
prepared and decorated beforehand. Turn off all the lights and turn on only the
central candle (the one found in the container with water).

Each participant must evaluate the year and write it in one of the
leaves. Make a special emphasis on all those things he wants.

as the paper burns feel how all that darkness goes away

Now it is time to welcome the light!

Each one lights their candle using the flame from the central candle. As they do so,

SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

Tradition says that on December 21 of each year, it arrives on Earth, a product

of the cosmic phenomenon known as Winter Solstice, the Spirit of the
Christmas, with the firm mission of bringing to the physical plane everything we desire.
The Spirit of Christmas is a tradition belonging to the Nordic countries and
that, for several years, has been adopted in our country as part of
the characteristic customs of this time.

The spirit of Christmas is not conceived as a flesh and blood person,

despite the fact that the legend describes it that way, but rather as an energy that
comes from the center of our stellar system and arrives year after year to
to share, more than material things, that which human beings do not
they can do without: peace, love, harmony, and joy.

Ritual for December 21 (Winter Solstice):

December 21 is the longest night of the year.

Between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM, the Spirit of Christmas descends

to accompany us in these festivities.

The house must be cleaned in order to receive him free of negative energies.

After dinner, all the doors and windows are opened to welcome the
Spirit of Christmas and tangerine incense is lit.

Everyone present will sit at a table that they will choose as a kind of
Christmas sanctuary where they will light three candles in the shape of a triangle:

a blue one, which symbolizes peace, a yellow one that symbolizes joy and the
harmony and a red one as a symbol of love.
In the center, there will be a metal or clay fountain where everything will be burned.
the fulfilled wishes of the previous year.

Next, the wishes for the upcoming year are written on a piece of paper.
It is recommended to first ask for the well-being and peace of the world until
to reach the most personal desires.

These are kept until the following year to repeat the ritual.
