Job Overview
Spectrum Engineering Consortium (Pvt.) Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to
lead and manage large-scale Datacenter and Infrastructure projects. The selected candidate will
oversee projects from conceptualization to final implementation, ensuring strict adherence to scope,
budget, timelines, and international quality standards. The role requires a strategic leader with proven
expertise in handling mission-critical datacenter projects, stakeholder management, and process
excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Implementation
● Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale datacenter and infrastructure projects.
● Ensure successful execution with a strong focus on Uptime Institute standards, quality
benchmarks, scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
● Communicate effectively with relevant business units, technical teams, and stakeholders for
smooth decision-making.
● Oversee resource allocation, project scheduling, and milestone tracking.
2. Change & Risk Management
● Apply advanced project management methodologies to handle changes in project scope,
schedule, and costs.
● Perform comprehensive risk analysis to identify and mitigate technical, financial, and operational
risks.
● Escalate critical issues to management in a timely manner.
3. Documentation & Compliance
● Maintain project documentation, contracts, and compliance with local and international
regulatory standards.
● Supervise service level agreements (SLAs) and vendor compliance to ensure operational
reliability.
4. Process Improvement & Technical Collaboration
● Develop and refine PMO processes to improve project delivery efficiency.
● Work closely with engineering and supply chain teams for procurement, logistics, and vendor
management related to datacenter and infrastructure deployments.
5. Financial Oversight
● Monitor project budgets, ensure proper cost control, and assist in revenue collection.
● Establish strong vendor and partner relationships to optimize project delivery.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
● Negotiate with clients and stakeholders during project execution and post-implementation
phases.
● Lead regular progress review meetings with management and cross-functional units.
7. Leadership & Team Management
● Guide and motivate project members to achieve performance excellence.
● Ensure all PMO staff report progress, highlight challenges, and contribute toward project
objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a relevant
field.
● Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in project management, preferably in a system
integration or IT or Telecom company.
● Experience in managing large-scale datacenter and infrastructure projects from planning to
commissioning.
● Knowledge of Uptime Tier standards, MEP systems, IT infrastructure, and datacenter
operations.
● Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., PMP).
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects under tight deadlines.
● Proficient in project management software and tools.
● Willingness to travel outside of Dhaka (project site) as required.
