Use ¼” seams and press as arrows indicate throughout. With right sides facing, layer a Fabric D square on the
Thicket Rows: right end of a Fabric L rectangle.
Stitch on the drawn line and trim ¼” away from the seam.
Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of the FabricD
squares. Second Left Half Tree Unit should measure 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”.

With right sides facing, layer a Fabric D square with a L D


Fabric M square. Make 1 from each print.
Make 6 total.
Stitch on the drawn line and trim ¼” away from the seam.
First Half Tree Unit should measure 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”.

Attach the Side Borders.
Attach the Top and Bottom Borders.
