SL, TP, and Entry Guide

1■■ Entry (Where you enter the trade)

• Entry is the price where you decide to buy or sell an asset.
• Buy Entry: Expect the price to go up.
• Sell Entry: Expect the price to go down.

2■■ SL (Stop Loss – where you cut your losses)

• SL is your safety net. It automatically closes your trade if the price goes against you.
• Example: Buy at 1.1000, SL at 1.0980 → you lose only 20 pips if price falls.

3■■ TP (Take Profit – where you secure profit)

• TP automatically closes your trade when price hits your target.
• Example: Buy at 1.1000, TP at 1.1050 → you make 50 pips profit if price rises.

4■■ How to set SL and TP

• Risk/Reward Ratio: Many traders use 1:2 or 1:3. Example: SL = 20 pips, TP = 40 pips.
• Support/Resistance: Place SL below support for buys, above resistance for sells.

5■■ Example Trade Setup

Buy BTC at $30,000, SL at $29,500, TP at $31,000. Risk $500, profit $1,000 (1:2 ratio).

■ Tip: Always use SL and TP to protect your money and lock profits.
