RED RIDING HOOD SCRIPT

a. Characters:
 Nadia as Red Riding Hood
 Latifah as Mother
 Karini as Grandma
 Denda as Wolf
 Rendi as Hunter

b. Synopsis
Once upon a time, in a quiet village near the forest, there lived a little girl called Red
Riding Hood with her mother. One day, her mother asked her to bring a basket of food to her
grandmother who was ill. With a kind heart, Red Riding Hood set off through the woods. But
along the way, she encountered a sly wolf who was already plotting something wicked.

c. Script

Scene 1 – At Red Riding Hood’s House


(Mother prepares a basket of food)
Mother:
“Red Riding Hood, here are some bread and fruit for your sick grandma. Please deliver them.
But be careful on the way, don’t stop to play, and don’t talk to strangers.”
Red Riding Hood:
“Alright, Mom! I’ll go straight to Grandma’s house.”

Scene 2 – In the Forest


(She walks, suddenly the Wolf appears)
Wolf:
“Hello, little girl. Where are you going?”
Red Riding Hood:
“I’m going to Grandma’s house to bring her some food.”
Wolf (slyly):
“Oh, your grandma must be happy. Where does she live?”
Red Riding Hood:
“At the end of the forest, near the three big trees.”
Wolf:
“Why don’t you pick some flowers for your grandma? She’ll be very happy.”
Red Riding Hood (excited):
“That’s a good idea! Okay, I’ll pick some flowers.”

Scene 3 – At Grandma’s House


(Grandma lies down, the Wolf knocks on the door)
Grandma:
“Who is it?”
Wolf (pretending):
“It’s me, Red Riding Hood.”
Grandma:
“Come in, the door is open.”
(The Wolf attacks Grandma and disguises himself.)

Scene 4 – Red Riding Hood Arrives


Red Riding Hood:
“Hello, Grandma. I brought you some food.”
Wolf (hoarse voice):
“Hello, my dear, come closer.”
Red Riding Hood:
“Grandma, why are your ears so big?”
Wolf:
“So I can hear you better.”
Red Riding Hood:
“And why are your eyes so big?”
Wolf:
“So I can see you better.”
Red Riding Hood:
“But why are your teeth so big?”
Wolf (shouts):
“So I can eat you faster!”

(The Wolf chases her.)

Scene 5 – The Hunter Comes


(The Hunter enters)
Hunter:
“Stop, evil Wolf!”
(The Hunter fights the Wolf and rescues Grandma.)
Grandma:
“Thank you for saving us.”
Red Riding Hood:
“I promise I will never talk to strangers again.”
Mother:
“Thank goodness you are safe. Remember my advice, don’t trust strangers easily.”
All characters:
“Be careful and always obey your parents’ advice!”
