Module-1
1 a. With a neat diagram, explain structure of analog input and output instrumentation devices.

b. Describe human interface subsystem and explain functions of each element. (10 Marks)

2 a. Describe general functions of a control subsystem and explain its structure. (10 Marks)
b. Explain signal interfacing standards applicable to all instrumentation devices. (10 Marks)

3 a. Explain in detail the processor subsystem of data acquisition and control unit. (10 Marks)
b. With schematic, explain DACU capacity expansion. (10 Marks)

b. What are ladder diagrams? Illustrate bit logic instructions and timer/counter instructions in

b. What are the different types of topologies that facilitate data exchange in communication
